I strongly agree with this statement. A top scorer in math may know all the formulas one can ever know in the world, but the world does not work on formulas. People in the real world also deal with problems other than ‘math’ related. An individual needs to have knowledge about societal issues as well, global politics, world order and much more! The world functions on Politics and Government, it is equally important in one’s life and influences people’s personal lives. Hence, a ‘Topper’ in math cannot solve ‘societal issues’ by using formulas, it is not the only thing involved in a day-to-day scenario, there are plenty other aspects involved.

I strongly agree- with this statement. A topper in math may have knowledge of all the complex formulas in the field of Mathematics. But when it comes to day-to-day accounts, there is a limited usage of Math involved, and even if it is, it consists of the basics, which is addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc. Normal activities do not require important formulas, but logic, sense and awareness of surroundings. An example of this is Person A and Person B. A is extremely smart, but lacks in street-smartness, and most probably finds basic activities hard. B is not much of an achiever in academics, but is very much aware of their environment, and is able to adjust accordingly. However, if the scorer happens to be someone with general knowledge, then that's a different scenario.

I strongly agree with the statement A top scorer in math may not be mathematically smart in a ‘day to day’ accounts as Different kids with different levels of preparation come into a maths lesson. Even at times these students who excel academically may not br able to apply it in real life. A person with basic mathematics knowledge can also survive in today’s world.

I strongly agree with the motion that 'A top scorer in math may not be mathematically smart in day to day life'.
A top scorer in math may be good at solving problems given in exams but may not be good at applying these techniques in day-to-day life. They may not know where to use what, unlike during exams, where everything is directly asked on the question papers. Most of these people often may get confused in real life situations or challenges that they face if they do not have good business sense or street smartness.
Simply being good at just mathematics is not enough in the real world, the person would also have to know about the various things happening around the world.

Some of these kids have parents who have drilled them on math from a young age which makes them a top scorer. He/she might be able to use the formula and solve the problem given in exam, but can't use it when it comes to a real life problem which required much more than just the formula.

I strongly agree, a top scorer could only be familiar with their textbook. Day to day accounts however are not based on their textbook. So the math used everyday would be very different from all the different formulas this person has made. Real life has more of basic math while this person would know what it is they wouldn’t know how to use it.
