Our curriculum fosters physical, emotional, and cognitive growth within each child. With these learning approaches and the tools provided, they will encourage a life long love of learning for our children. Students will have the opportunity to take two days a month and gather in the gym. There the children can choose what they want to do, either play games, listen to music, watch a movie and eat food or simply just sleep. This will ensure their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing is met. Our children are never too little to have mental health care days. Weekly safety protocols are being done by staff to ensure the kids safety.

Each teacher will be taught lessons in how to accommodate to each child and their needs. There will be an assistant in each class to help the children who need one on one time during lessons. Students will have a choice to learn about different languages and cultures as one of their classes. In this class their will be a final about each of the children’s culture and they can bring food from their culture. Teachers will build relationships with each children and they will take the time to learn how to make each child feel comfortable.

There will be laptops, computers, tablets, projection screens and more provided so the children can work to their best ability. Teachers will be trained to be able to work with different software programs to better assist the children. The following programs will be accessible to all students and staff. Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Canvas, Google Classroom, Zoom, Class Dojo, Adobe and more.

Our focus is to mainly make sure all our children feel safe at home and are able to focus on their academics. There will be extra support provided for those children who need it. Weekly check ins for their children will be provided to all parents/guardians on their child’s performance. A positive class environment and motivation is what we strive for our children.

It is important to provide the best education with knowledge about the world for our children. If Soarin’ Preschool did become a reality, I would make sure every student has goals and the motivation to reach them. Teachers not only teaching the children academics but also knowledge on the real life, no matter how small the children are. It is never too early or too late to teach our children life lessons. I hope one day if I do become a teacher ill be able to practice the strategies and tools I’ve learned in this course. Not only will these tools help me if I do become a teacher, but with any career I choose.
