"You would probably notice a cellphone screen in a dark movie theater, but not at a park on a sunny day," is an example of difference threshold. I find this interesting because I've never thought this being an example of perception but know that most can agree with this statement and would notice a phone in a movie theater more than they would in the park.
2. "Inattentional blindness is not seeing something in our environment that is completely visible." "Each square inch of Matt's hands holds 600 touch sensors." I find this interesting because I knew we had a ton of sensors in our bodies, but was not aware there is 600 in our hands.
2. "Four thousand nerves direct each hand, " was something I was not aware of. "The hands are placed where we need them most," is something I was unaware of, I didn't know we had some of the most sensors in our hands and were created like that for a reason.
