Who? Nicolaus Copernicus
What? Developed the Heliocentric Theory
When? Early 1500s
Why? He didn't believe that the sun was indeed the center of the universe was Earth.
How? He made a astronomical model of the universe and got a different result than what all the other scientists got.
How did this affect history & the world? What major change resulted? This affected the world because it proved that all in which they believed in was not true; inaccurate. This resulted in having to prove the theory was accurate and telling everyone the new discovery.

Who? Galileo Gailei
What? Made many discoveries such as the first telescope and that the moon was indeed rough.
When? 1609
Why? He made the telescope to make things in outer space better to see: clearer for more accurate hypotheses
How? It was made of spyglass that magnifies objects out in outer space.
How did this affect history & the world? What major change resulted? The telescope affected the world by making it easier for philosophers and scientists to keep accurate records of their observations on what was happening in outer space. More of the records were accurate because of the creation.
