What? Developed the Heliocentric Theory
When? Early 1500s
Why? He didn't believe that the sun was indeed the center of the universe was Earth.
How? He made a astronomical model of the universe and got a different result than what all the other scientists got.
How did this affect history & the world?  What major change resulted? This affected the world because it proved that all in which they believed in was not true; inaccurate. How? It was made of spyglass that magnifies objects out in outer space.

What? A new theory that went against the geocentric theory

Why? He had many doubts that the geocentric theory was not accurate 
How? Nicolaus created a whole different astronomical model that proved that his predictions were accurate
How did this affect history & the world?  What major change resulted? This affected the world becalms it made people realize that all that they believed was not right and that the center of the universe wasn't the earth. This change changed the way that the people viewed our universe.
