This was in Kinder 4 in the morning, the time of the class is about 30 minutes. 
I arrived early at the kindergarten, and I waited for the headteacher, Rocio, who was in Kinder 5. So we entered together to the class, and while we were arriving there, the teacher had explained before that I would be together for some days. 
Well, when we were in the class, they looked like very curious about my presence there, it was really funny! They said hello to me several times and they asked me about my name after I presented!. As a first stage, the children sat down on the floor and Rocio in the computer played the ‘hello song’, so they sang and danced with her. It was awesome to see how they remembered the whole song, and how they interacted with the teacher.  
When they finished gretting, the teacher asked them about a video from the last class ‘Five little monkeys’, this is also a song. They started to speak about what they could watch in it and what happened with every monkey, as they were learning the numbers, the teacher asked about monkey one, two, and so on. 
As a second stage, the headteacher put the computer in the middle of the class and she invited to students to stand up and sing the ‘Five little Monkeys’ and act what they watch in the video. After that, she showed to students some numbers flashcards, and while she showed everyone, she asked about Monkey 1, and so on. 
So they worked with the video in the whole class, and finally she drew some monkeys on the board and while they spoke about the monkeys, she crossed out everyone. Finally tthe teacher took a little froggy puppet from her bag, and started to sing the bye bye song. 
Generally, the group was very enganged and involved with the class. It was a very friendly group. They came next to me instantly; even a boy was crying and he approached to me to tell that he wanted to go to his house, with his dad. 
Almost at the end of the class, children became suddenly noisy and messy, not following the instructions, a fact that called my attention since they had been paying attention the most of the time. Some of the boys seemed to have got bored of the video. I could observe that they were playing in a corner of the classroom
The only thing I regret about the lesson is that it was completely carried out in Spanish, except for the numbers and hello/bye bye song. On the other hand, I could see that the teacher did not use so many visual resources, such as images, flashcards or games, which I consider really important at the time to teach English. This is just my perception and my humble opinion.

At the beginning of the class, the teacher sang the ‘hello’ song with children, but this time they invited to me sing and dance with them. 
After the ‘hello’ song the teacher asked students if they remember the video from the last class (‘Five Little Monkeys’). The students started to speak about what has happened with every Monkey and they spoke about the numbers. 
Then, the teacher invited to children to sit down on the floor. She sat down in front of them and played again the video. While the students watching the video, they playing it, miming what they watched.
Once this finished, the teacher reviewed the numbers again and asked children that sit in their sits. They have a ‘Booklet’ in which they had different activities related to the topics that they are learning. This Booklet was done by a teacher that is why, it had only activities to colour, join, complete different draws, and so on.  
When the students were in their sits, the teacher showed two cards that are the assistants. So, she chose a boy and a girl to be assistant that day and helped her to give the booklets to the class. However, there was a girl who started to cry because she hasn’t been chosing, but the teacher explained that maybe the next class she could be the assistant. 
Next, she explained the activity; in which the students had to colour the Monkey according to the number that they had. It looked like that (See in the Padlet Wall).
  So they have to colour them according to the quantity that they had. In this activity, some of the students didn’t understand how to do it and coloured everything, only some of them understood well what they had to do. In this moment, I helped some students because they asked me. 
At the finish of the class, the teacher asked assistants that put the books away and then, sang the bye bye song with the little froggy puppet.

It was really good. I worked with shapes (square, circle, rectangle, triangle, oval) and also colours. At the begining of my class, I played the hello song with a froggy puppet. They enjoyed a lot! Then I introduced the topic with shapes flashcards comparing them with the shapes that they could see in the classroom. Once they finished it, I played a video with shapes that they loved it!  I used the flashcards to make them questions about the videos and so they could remember them. In the activity stage, I sticked a big poster (it is on the wall) with a Bingo, and in a bag I had different flashcards related to the poster, so with the whole class played Bingo! it was really funny! and finally they reviewed the topic developed in the class and we sang the bye bye song.

It was totally different, the children were really unfocused, I entered some minutes ago to the class because they were in P.E. so I put the tables in order to not waste time in my class. When they arrived on time, their English was in another classroom so I was with the head teacher and I could start my class on time. At the begining we sang the hello song, then I sticked some flashcards on the wall, in different parts of the classroom to make a game in the 'warm up' stage. The game calls 'Shooshooka' where the teacher draws in the air the shape and when she says 'shooshooka' they stand up and touch the shape. But here, at the start, some of the children were playing and fighting, so here as I spoke with the head teacher, I called their attention. I stopped the class and I started to speak about their behavior, and I said them that 'Roxy' (the froggy) was sad because they were shouting and not playing the game. It could sound really crazy, but it worked, in that moment the children participated and enjoyed the game. Then, I introduced with flashcard shapes 'big and small' and they understood very quickly what the idea was about. During the activity stage I played a Domino with shapes. I invited to students to make a circle on the floor and I played it with the whole class. They really enjoyed it, and the most important, they respected their turns. And finally we spoke about the class and sang the bye bye song. It was a hard class but I could do sucessfully. :)

So I have to recognize that was really hard that they payed attention to the activity and participated in it. 

During this lesson I used the PPP approach (as the most of my classes in kinder). I started the lesson sang the hello song with Roxie, which is a froggy and their ‘friend’. Then I showed them a train (as the video was on a train, I decided to introduce it in the warm – up stage), in every wagon they could see shapes and numbers. 

So they counted with me every wagon and at the same time we reviewed the shapes and colours, because I asked different questions such as what colour is it?? Is it big or small? And so on. 

Then I played a video where they could watch in every wagon different shapes and they counted with the train how many there were in every one. The children enjoyed a lot every class, but they spoke a lot too, so I sang a song: ‘1…2…3…1…2…3…silence please….silence please’ they made silence but just for a few minutes. However, they realized that in the last wagon there wasn’t anything, so they spoke about what they thought and count again with the train, they ‘helped’ it to complete the wagon.

When we finished that, I showed a small poster with shapes and the number (that indicates the quantity) was hide. And apart, I had some cards with the numbers that correspond to everyone. We sat on the floor in a circle (which was really difficult because they didn’t use to sit like this) and we counted every square, so here, I invited some students to pass and stick the correct number (this activity is on the padlet’s wall) 

This activity was part of the ‘presentation’, and it was really hard that they respect their turn and could participate correctly. When we finished it, we did the activity that was a game. I showed different cards with the shapes and numbers (are on the wall) but some are ‘Bang’ cards, when they took this card, they had to stand up and say or try to say a shape. They enjoyed, but again, they didn’t respect their turns, everybody wanted to pass and some of them couldn’t play it. 

To finish this class, we sang the bye bye song.

Children are very curious, always they pay close attention to everything and of course, we as teachers or future teachers, are not the exception. They observe us from we enter to the class to we go out there, they copy everything. Furthermore, this quotation represent what happened to me in almost every class, it was really funny the way in which they imitate the intonation and they sang '1...2...3...silence please' to their partners! That is why, we have to act and be very careful, of that way they will have 'something great to imitate'. :)

At the beginning of the class, we sang the hello song with the froggy as every class. 
Then I showed them different flashcards in a bag (they are on the padlet’s wall) to review what we have learned in previous classes. Once they remembered and said the colors…numbers and shapes, I introduced the new topic telling them that I was really sad because I have been a problem, and here I showed a big circle with an eye….a smart girl from the bottom of the class shouted ‘es una cara’! ‘Yes, it is a face. Also, I asked about the color, if it was big or small and so on. But what have happened whith this?’ as they could, they told me that it hasn’t the other parts (eyes, nose, mouth). So here, I invited to help me to complete this. 
One of the strategies that worked in every class is being quick. This group is quite noisy and restless, so if I gave them time between every stage, they started to shout or run in the class, so I tried to show different resources that caught their attention. It is important to say that not always worked, in many cases, I had to stop the class and put them in order. 
Next, we complete the face and stick it on the classroom wall. To continue with, I invited children to touch their parts of the face, to introduce the video that was related to the topic, and while it passed it became quickly. They watched the video and enjoyed following it in the whole song. This was in presentation stage. 
In production stage, we played ‘Simon says’. Here I told the action and they did, but it was difficult to make that they understand they have to touch because they said the part in Spanish, instead of touching their face. Also, I used flashcards (they are on the wall) to guide them but they said that in Spanish, so here the activity was not so successful.
To finish the class, I played the video again and they followed the song. I played it twice. And finally, we sang the bye bye song.

 At the beginning of the class, we sang the 'hello song' with the froggy, Roxie. When we finish, I introduced to students with the topic that we were going to learn that class: the body. 
 So I started to touch my head at the time that I sang the 'head, shoulder, knees and toes', also I touched my face to reviewed the topic from the last class. They realized that this was related to the body. Here I played the video from the last class, 'Eyes, nose, mouth, ears song'. 
 Then I repeated the song 'head, shoulder, knees, and toes' and I played the video related to this song; firstly we watched the video which every time became faster, and it was represented by animals. Secondly, we discussed what they watched, what animals they could watch and so on. 
 To continue with, I played the video again, but this time I put the computer in a way that they could listen to only the song, and I invited them to dance and imitate the video, faster and faster. They enjoyed it so much!
 Next, I asked students that they sit in their seats to work with something that I would give to them. Here it was really difficult to explain the activity because they are very excited with the dancing, so as I could (using miming and showing the material) I explained what they had to do. 
 In the activity stage, I gave to each child, a big circle that would be the face. And apart, I put a different part from different animals that they watched in the video, so with those parts they would do a face using the parts that they liked.
 Finally, they wanted to keep their works, so we sang the bye bye song and I gave to them a present because it was my last class with them.
