I agree with the author because I feel that you shouldn't judge people about what color their skin is or what they believe in, but what's on the inside and what truly matters. I agree with the author that we should not judge other people and treat them differently. They are human beings too and deserve to be treated nicely just as you would want someone else to treat you. 3) I'm aware of this because throughout the story, a boy is intrigued yet disgusted by his neighbors that don't own a TV. He thinks they are strange people because the narrator relied on a TV to teach him what the normal way of life is. 
4) The author's supports this by POV. One moment was when the boy realized his neighbors, The Tomkeys, ate dinner just when everyone was cleaning the last dishes. He also saw them actually sitting and talking at the table, which was weird to him. He assumed that if they had a TV, they would be able to keep track of time and not have to socialize and eat.

I agree with the author because he narrator didn't give them a real chance. If I were in this situation, even if I would be gone by next year, I would try to become friends with them since they peek my curiosity. I wouldn't watch them with curiosity and hatred unless I was friendly and they completely and continuously neglect my greeting. 2) The author is trying to dissuade me from judging others for different things they do, that I may do differently.
3) I know this because the author gives examples of a young boy judging people for not watching T.V. and going trick-or-treating on the day after Halloween.
4) The author proves this point by showing the boy saying that his neighbors live puny lives because their lives are different than his. The boy's sister also asked "Who do these Tomkeys think they are?" when they left out a bowl of gumdrops on Halloween with a sign saying "Don't be greedy".

I agree with the author because no one should be judged if their life is different than yours because that's not fair. 3) I know this because the author shows how the young boy, the mom, most of the kids in school and the mom's friend all making jokes about the family since they didn't have a TV. Later, they realized that the family wasn't strange at all.
4) The author proves this point to me by showing the feelings and actions before and then after. They thought that the family had no life because they didn't have a TV. They just didn't realize that different isn't always bad.
