         <description><![CDATA[<div>Within the Identity theme, we look at the link between language and identity, and the regional variations in the French language, Being in the USA, my students seem very interested in Canadian French and how it differs from the French spoken in France. One option would be to look at the linguistic difference for instance in the use of prepositions in Québecois and French. <br><br>Another aspect we cover within the Identities theme is the topic of gender neutral identities, so investigating the trend towards a gender neutral French language from a linguistic evolution perspective could be interesting. <br><br></div>]]></description>
