The conflict between these two parties began when the North Korean Communist Party crossed the border that divided the two countries and invaded non-communist South Korea. North Korea's army was armed with Soviet troops and overran South Korea. The U.S later came to help South Korea against North Korea.</div>]]></description>

Seven months after the inauguration of President Eisenhower a armistice was signed.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The two parties came together and decided to come to a mutual agreement on certain things such as:<br>- "expediting the North-South Red Cross meetings, currently under negotiation, ardently longed for by the Korean people"<br>- "establishing direct phone contacts between Seoul and Pyongyang in order to prevent accidental military clashes by prompt and accurate resolution of any urgent potential problems"<br>- "implementing appropriate measures to stop military provocation which may lead to unintended armed conflicts, to cultivate an atmosphere of mutual trust between North and South by refraining from vilifying the other side"<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Considering how far they have come I think the dispute between the two countries is over. If one of them face a threat I feel like the other would not mind helping out. Maybe one day the two countries will become one again</div>]]></description>
