It has not been determined what exactly is the cause of prostrate cancer. However, scientists have discovered a number of things that are closely linked to increasing the risk of developing cancer. The most common and most important of these is the age of an individual. The risk rises as one gets older. Statistically, most cancers are discovered in men over the age of 50 years.
