Current research says that we should focus on reading skills in small group (decodable/OG vs. leveled readers). Drill down into MAP Fluency/MAP Growth data and do small group reading instruction. Use a resource that relies heavily on decodable readers and builds skills (like OG or CKLA, RAZ Phonics resources). What are we doing with students who are on/above grade level?
