I compare myself to others a lot. I would say that my appearance and the things I do are based on others. I scroll through social media a lot and look at the current trends. Usually, I try to follow them. I compare myself to my friends or even random strangers that I see in public. I honestly think that social comparison has brought my self-esteem down. Sometimes, I feel like I am not good enough when I compare myself to other girls. 

The different roles that I have in my life has motivated me to be a good person. I try to be the best friend, family member, and role model that I can be. These roles have made me learn a lot about myself. I have learned that I will make mistakes, but those mistakes do not define me. What defines me is my intentions of being the best person that I can be.
