The polar bears are classified as marine mammals because they live the most of their lives in the marine ice of the Artic Ocean. They have an important paper in the health of the marine environmental because they are in the upper part of the food chain. 

The polar bears body has a waterproof big layer of fat in their body to protect them of air and water. They swims very good using just their frontal paws. Are very good hunters because they need big amounts of food to live. 

The global warms puts in risk the environmental of the polar bears, is for this they are in danger. The ice of the artic is melting, and this make that the bears spend more time in the groud, at contact with human communities, and this encounters sometimes ends very bad for some of the parts.
