"Motivation is the key to child's learning."
Definitely, motivation has a huge impact to improve the academic performance of the students. Thus, it depends upon the teacher's level of effectiveness and teaching strategies to induce the interest of the students. The high motivation of prospective teachers indeed showed a positive significant correlation with the students' learning. When motivation has a beneficial effect on the learning process, it is clear that people learn better based on the perceived value of the task, subject matter, personal goals, financial incentives, and a wide array of different factors. The deeper the motivation for pursuing an activity, the more likely that the student will not accept easy answers to complex questions. Thus, motivation fosters creativity and critical thinking of the students. Consequently, motivation is the driving force of learning. Without motivation, no students would go to school to study because all of the learners have their own purpose why they go to school to learn.

Motivation captures the interest of the learners and starts to be curious. Curiosity out of motivation makes the learners focus on the topic the teacher presented. By motivating the learners they start to engage, learn and explore and will experience success and failures. Through success and failure experience, the learner will be motivated to do and learn more. Therefore motivation and learning correlate with each other and motivation is the key to learning.

Kateviv Ashley J. Tambolero

Motivation also is not only important in it's own right it is also an important of predictor of learning and achievement. Students who are more motivated to learn can learn deeply and perform better in classes.

First and foremost, motivation is an orientation towards learning. Therefore, it impacts how likely a student is either to give up or push forward, and how thoughtful their reflection on their learning will be. The deeper the motivation for pursuing an activity, the more likely that the student will not accept easy answers to complex questions. In short, intrinsic motivation fosters strong and flexible critical thinking skills. On the other hand, amotivation and purely extrinsic motivation lead to low interest and academic persistence.

RITCHE B. BALAGA
