He talks about the old men whispering, the unmentionable times, and the things that happened to The Transgressor of the Unmentionable word. Equality discusses that the “dumb people” seem to be living better lives and are looked up to as idles and good representations. Equality meets a peasant girl named Liberty. They weirdly look at each other. Equality thinks about the Palace of Mating, where random people get matched up to mate.
