We met in Ireland in 2009, became friends, and then became significant others when I moved to Ireland in 2013 after college graduation. We lived in a van together in New Zealand in 2014 and we got married in 2015. He is my strongest supporter and a huge motivator in my life. His presence makes me want to be the best person I can be. My paternal grandparents are from Ireland and my maternal grandparents are from Cuba. My parents grew up in the same neighborhood in Santa Ana, CA. I have 1 older sister (28), a younger sister (21), and a younger brother (17). We had a very busy and active childhood as my siblings and I were competitive athletes for multiple sports.
