         <description><![CDATA[<div>(1) The charts show how one university spent its income in 2005 compared to 2015, giving the percentages spent on six different areas of its operation. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div>(2) In general, the most important outlay (tiền chi tiêu) by the university in both years was on Teaching and research. (3) However, there were still significant changes across the decade in the proportion of spending in all other sectors.&nbsp;</div><div>(4) Over the 10-year period, Teaching and researching accounted for the largest amount of university’s expenditure, holding steadily at approximately half the overall spent income (53% in 2005 and 48% in 2015) .</div><div>(5) In addition, the most noteworthy <em>difference</em> was the portion spent on Administration and management: this increased dramatically, from 6% to 16% between 2005 and 2015.&nbsp;</div><div>(6) Other areas which saw a growth in percentage terms were Maintaining campuses (from 10% to 15%) and Financial support for students, which, started from the lowest base (5%) in 2005, outstripped spending on Libraries and made up for 8% of total expenditure in 2015.&nbsp; (7) Two other areas witnessed a drop in spending in percentage terms were Libraries and Accommodation, which both fell by half of their spending to 5% and 8% respectively.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
