         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aim:<br>-To officially end the War between Germany and the Allied powers via a peace treaty.<figure class="attachment attachment-preview"><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b8/Treaty_of_Versailles%2C_English_version.jpg/180px-Treaty_of_Versailles%2C_English_version.jpg" width="180" height="274"><figcaption class="caption"></figcaption></figure><br>War Guilt Clause:<br>-Absolute blame was casted on Germany for causing the war.<br>-Due to extremely high damages and mortality rate on a global scale, compensation was needed <br>-Since Germany was guilty, they forced Germany to compensate via heavy reparations(132 Billion marks), disarmament, and territory.<br><br>However, the worse thing that the Germans lost was their intrinsic dignity. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>-The government at that time(Weimar Republic) was desperate to pay for the crippling sums of compensation by printing money at a much faster rate.<br>-Led to hyperinflation <br>-German people were jobless, poor and starving. Even basic necessities were not accessible due to the extremely high rise of prices. Money became worthless and were used as wallpaper or even entertainment:<figure class="attachment attachment-preview"><img src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/b0/cb/fc/b0cbfcf096de37152f1f03a5f67dfdf4.jpg" width="236" height="290"><figcaption class="caption"></figcaption></figure>-The Germans were dissatisfied by their government who were helpless to change their harsh lives,  and became desperate for change.<br>-They voted up a man who promised Germany and its people to regain their dignity and avenge their humiliation: Adolf Hitler. <br><br></div>]]></description>
