I chose Harry Poter because at the beginning he had no one to help him until he met Ron Whisley like how Charlotte met Zacharaya. This is like how at the end Ron Whesley had to go and he came back after like how Zach came back so that why I fell like Harry Potter was the perfect book to pick for this type of assignment. In Harry Potter they chose the bad people instead of Harry and Ron Whesley but at the end they were nice to Harry and Ron because they found out that they were nice people not bad people. I chose Harry Potter because as I said It fits her because at the beginning no one trusts her and she doesn't have a friend until she meets Zach and like hoe harry met Ron Whesley.

I chose The Art of War; because I think this book would really help Charlotte on her journey. For example in the beginning of the book Captain. Jaggery and Zachariah both try to be her friend, and she obviously picked the wrong one; the book talks about how to judge a persons character which would have helped her a lot there.
She also could have analyzed the situation better when she told the captain about the Round Robin and in the book they talk about how to properly understand and perceive a situation to the best of your abilities.
Basically the book would have been a sort of guide for Charlotte which would have really helped her throughout the story-line.

I chose Journey to the River Sea because I think that this book would really benefit Charlotte as she goes on her journey to England while on a ship full of Pirates, murderers and sinners while Maia(the protagonist) goes on a journey to the amazon were she faces a sad family who do not understand the beauty of the rainforest. Just like Maia, the protagonist, Charlotte faces a number of antagonists who are the villains of the story. For Charlotte it's the greedy Captain Jaggery and for Maia it is the hideous Carters who are only there for money. Charlotte finds it hard to know who is good and who is a murderer but when she figures it out she realises she has gotten it all wrong. This is the same for Maia as the person closest to you in life could also be a backstabber. These to characters have a lot in common.
