Suffragist leaders tried three approaches to achieve their objectives. Initially, they tried to convince state legislatures to grant the right to vote to women. After that, women pursued court cases to test the fourteenth amendment; finally, they pushed for a national constitutional amendment to grant women voting rights. This is very important because the strategy helped convince more people support women’s suffrage.

Although this act did not ban harmful products outright its requirement of truthful labels reflected the progressive belief. I think that this was a crucial act because it helped out buyers and helped people be safer.
