The Himeji Castle, also known as the White Heron Castle or the White Egret Castle, was built in 1333. It is located in the Hyōgo Prefecture of Japan in the city of Himeji. The castle is regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture, comprising a network of 83 rooms with advanced defensive systems from the feudal period. The Himeji Castle was originally a fort that was built on the top of Himeyama hill by Akamatsu Norimura . But, the fort was dismantled and rebuilt as Himeyama Castle in 1346, and then remodeled into Himeji Castle two centuries later. Himeji Castle was then significantly remodeled in 1581 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Toyotomi Hideyoshi had added a three-story castle keep.
Red Square Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. It separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and now the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod. Red Square is often considered to be the central square of Moscow since the city's major streets, which connect to Russia's major highways, originate in the square.
