Don't forget the 'met' when you bounce the question back. That 'met' comes from the complete question being 'Hoe gaat het met you?'

Use 'wat'+ adjective to express a reaction to what someone has just said.

The word 'maar' makes an instruction more polite.

'Ga zitten.' sounds very direct and demanding. 'Ga maar zitten.' sounds much nicer and more polite.

--> Place 'maar' straight after the imperative (instructing) verb.

Kom maar binnen. Come in, please.

Neem maar een koekje. Take a cookie, please.

Kijk maar. Have a look, please.

The separable verb 'eruitzien' gets split up in this present tense sentence: the verb part 'zien' sticks to the subject, and the prefix 'uit' goes to the end of the sentence.
