1. The second point says abolish the treaty of Versailles which shows that the Nazis did not want relation and didnt care about the satisfaction of other countries with them (germany). This shows how close minded the nazis were and that they were not caring about anything global and only Germany.
2. The last point says that the newspapers have to be published in German and only given to german citizens. This again shows that the Nazis did not want any outsiders or outside ideas to access the minds of the Germans, so they could only know the ideas of the Nazis.
2. These will appeal to Nazi followers and people who weren't satisfied with the government and people who didn't like other outside countries.
3.It would be a bit scary if it was american instead. One thing that would be better if it was american is language because many countries speak english and only Germany speaks german.
4.

It would also appeal to extreme nationalists who only want Germans to be in control and in their country, because any non-German after August 2, 1914 will be "expelled" along with those who are Jewish or if Germany isn't able to provide their population.

2. The abolition of the Treaty of Versailles was appealing to all Germans, no matter their background. I think this was probably an important point for the party that got lots of people to join.
4. After the war, many people in Germany were struggling. They were looking for someone to blame or take their rage out on. This requirement of German blood to be a citizen helped many people blame outsiders for their struggles. Not only does this rule blame and target foreigners, but it specifically attacks Jews.

Offer a brief interpretation of two of these points. What key phrases provide clues to their meaning?

For the second point it mentions the Treaty of Versailles because people in Germany despised the Treaty. They were upset about the consequences from WWI and wanted to get rid of the Treaty. The allied countries were eager to get their money and Germany's economy was suffering because of the amount of money they had to pay. The 4th one is talking about how some people in Germany did not approve of Jewish people living in Germany. They thought that Jewish people could not be citizens because of their faith. Jewish people were ostracized from the German community.

To whom will these particular points appeal? Why?
The second one appeals to all the people in Germany, but not the allied countries because they wanted to punish Germany and have the money for reparations. The 4th one would appeal to people who followed anti-semitism because they did not like Jewish people It would not appeal to Jewish people because it would cause them to suffer in society.

If the word American were substituted for the term German, would your opinion of any point change? Which point or points?

Do you think that any of these ideas would be acceptable to people today? If so, which one or ones?

1.
In the 6th quotation "Only citizens can vote or hold public office" The key word in this quotation is "only". It provides a stern confinment to who can vote, and the intensity of citizenship.

In the 10th quotation it states; "All newspapers must be published in the German language by German citizens and owners." The use of the word German is very confining to the majority and it's importance.

These points would probably most appeal to people in the majority or positions of power with a skewed sense of nationalism, people who love their country and want to make it successful by filling it with the people they feel will make it the best it can be.
2. Point #9 states that the education system will be remodeled to instill Hitler's ideals of citizenship in people will they are young and impressionable. In this he hopes to grow a generation of followers.
Point #10, which says all newspapers must be published in German by German citizens, works to exclude the incorporation of other languages and viewpoints.

4. This point shows that it is a requirement for German citizens to fight in war to be a citizen. A key word that provides a clue to this meaning is the word "Blood". This relates to the blood of war. This point also states that Jewish people cannot be a part of the nation and this is very wrong. If a Jewish family had been living in Germany their whole life, they would be expected to leave.
7. This point states towards the ends that if it is impossible to provide food for all the nation, "aliens must be expelled". I think that this hints that people who do not fit in or meet the requirements for living in Germany will be requested to leave. I do no think that this statement just applies to if you are German or not.
2. I think that these points are meant for Jews or other people who are not supposed to be in the country to scare them. `
