Event Objectives

The event will be a capacity building, policy advocacy, information dissemination and networking event bringing together academics, policymakers and civil society groups to review the climate finance outcomes from the UNFCCC COP 29 (in Baku, Azerbaijan) and take stock of the current negotiations and policy debates in the run-up to COP30 (in Belem, Brazil). It will provide an opportunity for academics to engage with policymakers, negotiators and civil society groups and develop synergies for collaborative work in the climate finance law, policy and governance space.
