But a lot of times, rather than give a perspective that was different than anything else, Ratliff would just rename something that I personally believe was already a musical element. While he does elaborate on each topic pretty well, he only speaks about each topic from his perspective. Music is subjective so the way he explains these songs doesn't apply to everyone yet he describes elements as if his opinion is the final say of good music.
