I'm currently on PTT at Ingham High School in the ITD area. My classes are a year 7 design and technology, a year 9 design and technology and a year 12 engineering. I used to be a fitter and turner by trade, however, I've had many career changes in my life, for the last 15 years I've been a police officer in both England and Queensland. I have a young family now and that life is not super family orientated, hence the change to education. 

Showing my age here, but the only computer I saw at school was a big box with a black screen and bright green text, they've come a long way since then.

I also love fishing, and I built that boat I'm standing on.

This is a go cart that I made for my kids, I used it as an example for what can be produced and used in a sustainable way. Essentially a solar and lithium ion powered go cart, as it is recharged by solar panels.

Well, this opened the gates for some online research and interactive design action.

Users have an infinite canvas you could start with simple sketching all the way down to a direct representation of what you’re thinking, and another user can view the sketch form any angle and modify your sketch in real time like you’re standing next to them in the same room. This would be an amazing resource in education, not only does it redefine the classroom, but it would also have an outstanding engagement level with 21^st Century students. An engaged student is a student that is learning.
