From this video, I took 4 key points which make an effective teacher. Firstly, teachers must believe in their students and make this clear to them. They must believe in student’s abilities and encourage them to succeed. Secondly, teachers should set goals for their student displaying this belief. These goals should be achievable but also ambitious, meaningful to the student and measurable. Thirdly, teachers should invest in their students and their everyday lives. This will further encourage them to believe in themselves.
