The Two
* Theme- Colours are symbolised as innocence and trauma "It's harder for him to find colours. He's taken so many. He has to go deeper. His hand brushes my spine. Grabs hold of a colour. Yanks it out." Pg 152
* Plot- Finding out theres two feeds "There's not not feed theres two feeds" Pg 154
*Plot- All are colours are almost gone " 'Your colours almost all gone,' she whispers. 'When there's no more, there's no more,' I close my eyes. Shut out the sight of my body" Pg 155
* Plot- The feed are about to take Catching's colours/R*pe by putting her on a stick table and pinning her "They put me on the table. The one made from sticks. They leave. I'm not alone. Never alone. There's breathing in the shadows. Low, heavy breaths. The feed. Something about him is different. I don'nt know what. Pg 151
* Repetition- The feed repeats Catching's last name saying her family one by one " I say the words: 'Granny...' Trudy Catching.
'Nanna...' Sadie Catching "Grandma...' Leslie Catching. 'Mum...'Rhonda. 'Me'. Pg 153

The Dream
*
*
*
*

The Catching
* Plot- Catching can't tell how long she has been in the room for " There's no way to know how long this is taking. We've got no sun. No moon. No ticking clocks. Just choices. They measure the distance between who we are and who we're turning into. Except it's the same choice, made again and again. Choose the opposite grey. It takes forever. It takes a moment. Pg 165
* Character Development as-well as Crow repeating - Catching is able to become of the crow but she was still scared of them. "Crow's in her corner. I can't see her. Only hear her. 'You must become a dead girl. A not-feeling dead girl'. She giggles. 'We have no claws or wings or bite. More giggling. 'No-one gets away!' She laughs so hard she falls onto the floor
* Character Development- Catching fights back to the crow " Laughing off lies. I wish I could get rid of my grey that way. I can't i've got no name. Catch. Fight.
* Character Development- Catching builds courage against the crow and isn't scared "I can't a piece of grey: fear. And I remember. The playground at school. That bully Billy King, stalking towards little Josie Lewis. Me, stepping into his way. Courage eats fear. The Feed's handprint on my stomach disappears." Pg 165

The Escape
*
*
*
*
