Hopefully we’ll feel a new sense of appreciation if and when we do get to act normal again. Now we really know that people who are more connected are happier and healthier. Social distancing—and physical distancing has been difficult as a way of life.

Now I realize how critical and how lovely it is to interact—to shake hands, to hug and all the other acts of social closeness that make us human.

Corona virus lockdown

The Corona virus lockdown has drastically changed my life. The fisrt two or three weeks of the lockdown, I was desperate, and I felt the uncontrollable need to get out of my house and see my friends. However, I knew this could not happen. So I tried to stay inside and find as many ways as I could to spend my time. Not going to lie, it was really difficult to stay inside, especially for me, because I was used to always be outside, with people. The lockdown made me realize how ungrateful I was and how much I underestimated my freedom. So, from now on, I have decided to live my life to the fullest and I have found many things to do and spend my time while in quarantine. Nonetheless, I am still excited to go outside again and I am really looking forward to regaining my freedom (even though I know this won't happen as soon as I'd like to). Life is too short to worry about stupid things. Now that I know how much things can change just in one night, I will never again take anything for granted!

Corona virus is just a challenge we are obliged to meet.We must be optimistic and have faith to the doctors who risk their own lives to save human lives.I am totally convinced that everyone cannot find words to express his grattitude and thank scientists for their efforts.Scientists have definitely measured up to our expectations and their work is undoubtedly priceless. We can have our freedom as noone can violate our privacy.Everyone is unobtrusive and discreet and we have plenty of time for ourselves without obligations. We have what we wish but I am sure that still many people are not satisfied.I confess that I sit alone at home and I combine studying with pleasure. In this period the real food for thought is considering the consequences and the benefits of this human crisis. This hunan crisis will enforce us ,eliminate our susceptibility and make us think about the superficial way we handlr difficult situations. As the other two girls have already mentioned I have come to the conclusion that we must learn to make the most out of our family times. All in all I try to be optimistic and fell as much pleased as possible.I have the privilege to lead a very pleasing life while other malnutritionated and unhappy people suffer or even die in deprivation and poverty.Well,at least,I think that the ruined environment has been relieved and people cannot encroach on its rights!
alkis nastos

Pandemic Covid-19

Two months ago we entered quarantine due to the pandemic of covid -19. The schools were closed and I was happy that we would not do any homework and sleep as much as we wanted. But I started to miss my friends, ballet and painting. I spend my day doing ordinary things. I go for walks, I paint, I listen to music, I exchange messages with my friends, I watch videos and games, I help with household chores, I make videos and I play nintendo. Unfortunately I started online classes and I don't have that much time for fun. The only good thing about online courses is that I don't have to go to school and I don't have to carry my bag. I wish good health to everyone and I hope that all this will end and that in the summer we will be able to go on vacation without any worries.
.

                           Dafni Arseni B ‘1

PANDEMIC: A HIGHLIGHT TO OUR MEMORY

The pandemic influenced our lives a lot since we were cooped up in our houses. Additionally, every time we were going out, we always had to sign a paper in which we had the day, the time and where we were going. It was like someone was spying on us every time we set foot on the street. I had never thought that something like that was going to happen. All these started all of a sudden and the time passed slowly, with lots of fright, anxiety and worrying about our future.

Fortunately now, thanks to our patience, optimism and attention to what the doctors and the government said, we are going to get back our freedom. Finally, we understood its importance after being “prisoners” to our own houses. In my opinion, the pandemic taught us a lot because it is an experience that nobody will forget its moral lesson!

Soteria Mavrogeorgou
