    2. Socio-Affective Dimension: Teachers arouse interest in the new topic by activating prior knowledge, through pictures, questions and a song. In order to build confidence, new words are presented before reading the text so learners don't feel frustrated . (high frequency words)

    3. Socio-cultural dimension: Learners compare and contrast this genre (expository) with the previous one (narrative). Students answer questions related to the format of the text and the author and purpose of writing(How did the format help you as you read? What do you think is the most important thing the author wanted you to know?)

Each group could be assigned a topic (How do astronauts eat in space). Because of time constraints, this is not possible but it would be a useful way in which students could incorporate the information presented in the text.
