I believe robots will benefit us. I believe in having a robot in the house helping with everything, one, because I'm lazy. But also, for people who can not do certain things or people who can not walk it can help them. My mother is disabled and sometimes she can't get out of bed because it's so bad. What if she's home alone and she cant get up to help herself? Yes, we can get a human to help her, but why give someone a job like that when a robot can do it for you. Another thing is my aunt has arthritis, I know that certain things she cant pick up and sometimes she can't pick up a glass of water. For a robot to help around the house and do things human cant is fantastic and nobody should stop people from creating something that people can use.

Question: Is there a point where scientific advancement is too much? A: There should be a limit to scientific advancement. With the benefits of advancement comes the consequences. Some advances of science include robots becoming smaller and genetic manipulation. Your privacy can be invaded without you knowing it when robot are microscopic sizes that you cannot see. Robots at this size can also steal your passwords and person information by seeing you type and following you around. Genetic manipulation of babies results in people choosing the traits of people, such as eye color and skin color, which nobody has the right to choose.

Is it ethical to pursue this type of science? (anatomy, genetic engineering) No, it is not ethical to pursue this kind of science, all because you can do something does not necessarily mean you should. To go against nature, is unethical and can lead to more undesirable consequences. This is seen in the text Frankenstein, with the use of genetic manipulation/reanimation leading to his ultimate death.

I feel that as long as the government is 100 percent sure that the human race wouldn't be effected by these experiments.

Will our dependance on technology be our demise?

I believe it would indeed be our demise because as time passed by and the use of technology people have become less independent and rely on their gadgets for everyday life. Moreover, we would become lazy and therefore lose the motivation to learn like for example in the movie Wall-E everybody became lazy and could even be able to walk on their own two feet.
