The town lives mainly from tourism, especially in the upper town around the cathedral, the lower town living mainly from agriculture. Each year, nearly 80,000 tourists visit the Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges sites.
I like going to this city because several activities are possible for tourists, first of all we can visit the cathedral then roam in the city and finally visit the Roman archaeological sites."

 The castle of Saint-Elix is a French Renaissance castle located in the commune of Saint-Elix-le-Château in the department of Haute-Garonne and the Occitanie region.
 The castle of Saint-Elix was built between 1540 and 1548 at the request of Pierre Potier de la Terrasse, secretary and notary of Francis I, Capitoul, master of requests and president of the Parliament of Toulouse. It reflects the success of its owner. The plans were drawn up by Laurent Clary, a Toulouse architect who was responsible for the Capitol dungeon, which is now the Toulouse tourist office. The windows were made by Joseph. Gressier according to the contract signed on 14 September 1545.
 It is a wonderful monument to visit at all costs!
