The article about Corporate Security Breaches that I found most interesting is titled “What to Hackers do with Corporate Security Breaches”. I’ve recently heard that credit card theft is becoming more common due to new advances in technology. But I never knew that foreign countries could obtain information in the US regarded credit card information by breaching major companies. In this article, I found out that countries like Russia that are overseas have made a business of hacking our countries customer information by breaching company’s customer information and selling it to thieves for a profit. I always wondered how credit card thefts get their someone else’s credit card and personal information. Knowing that it can be bought and sold is kind of scary.

On the website, it gives you information on how to prevent being a victim of credit card theft. They listed to always read credit card statements carefully, sign up for text alerts for all your cards if possible, and do your research on a credit card company before becoming a customer. Security breaching is real and it can happen to anyone so always be aware of making purchases and using your credit card.

http://www.idtheftcenter.org/Data-Breaches/what-do-hackers-do-with-corporate-security-breaches.html
