I feel the most connected to this quote as it stands for making a difference. Using knowledge and understanding to better peoples lives, this is something I am passionate about and am looking forward to doing after my studies.

I feel most connected to this quote because my primary motivation for undertaking tertiary study is to be able to make change in the world. I've grown up seeing the effects of hatred and indifference first-hand and they have started a great passion for change in my heart.

As a person with one sensory loss, both of these quotes resonate with me. I learn much better 'on the job' rather than being instructed and carpe diem, carpe noctem. Take each day and night as it comes, forget what tomorrow may bring and don't dwell on the past. This can also apply to learning at whatever institution you're in. So here I am, seizing my opportunity and hoping for the best.

I come from a family with very little tertiary education. I can see the value that having a higher education can bring to someone's life. It allows opportunity where there otherwise mightn't be any. I want to show my children that an education can take you places!

This quote resonates with me the most because it reminds me that learning is not a passive task.

I'm learning to eventually become a geopoliticial analyst. I firmly beleive education is a great weapon to have when aiming for more peace in the world.

A reminder to value both the present moment and the importance on lifelong learning. It reminds me to make the most of my day while also continuing to grow and improve myself. That mindset then motivates me to pursue and push in uni study ! Great little quote!

This one speaks to me because whilst you can be told something many times but when you are involved/doing it, you learn better. Things become more clear and it gives a sense of belonging and trust to the student.

I like this quote because it tells you the more effort you put into something the more you will get out of it and you will only go as far as the time and effort you put into something.

The reason this one stands out to me is because it holds try to my learning style as well as many around me. I struggle with the fact that the many schools I went to non had available options of learning that suited that type of learning. But it also shows how much community and involvement in learning is important.

A quote from St. Bernard of Clairvaux.

This particular quote as a Catholic and as someone who has an intense drive to gain as much knowledge as possible; returns me to the whole point of studying! In the end my chosen career that I will be aiming for; I hope all my wisdom gained and my career in turn better the world even in a ^_minuscule way.

This will stick with me as I remember to remain humble & know the journey will be challenging but it will be rewarding.

It stood out the most to me because this is exactly how I try to live my life by, but it is difficult some days to achieve this. I consider everyday I need to learn something new, if its not formal study, then its learning a language like French, or learning a new skill at work, whatever it is I try to incorporate learning every day. The living like it was my last I feel more applies to my physical side. Like my health, mood and overall mental health.
