         <description><![CDATA[<div>Supplying police officers details:<br>A police officer whom is exercising his/her powers must provide the following<br>- Evidence they are a police officer (exception if in uniform)&nbsp;<br>- The name and place of duty (when reasonable)&nbsp;<br>- Reason for exercising power;<br>The police officer must provide the previously mentioned information at all time unless not referred to in subsection 3: g, I or j and also subsection 2b.&nbsp;<br><br>If it is not reasonable to provide the information at the time of exercising the power, than the officer must do so when able.<br><br>(Gov 2002).&nbsp;<br>Danica Matsen<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Power 201: A police officer has the power to stop, search and arrest a person, stop and search a vehicle, enter or search premises and seize property.&nbsp;<br>Power 202:&nbsp; A police officer who exercises a power must give evidence of being a police officer, the name of the police officer of duty. The reason for the exercise of power. Additionally, complying reasonable practice.&nbsp;<br>Power 203:  A police officer who exercises a power which consists of a direction, requirement of request must give a warning to the person.However a warning is not required if the person has already complied. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Police officers to give warnings when giving or making directions, requirements or requests that must be complied with.&nbsp;<br><br>- a police officer who exercises a power to which this part applies that involves a direction, requirement or request must firstly be given to the individual the individual is then required by law to comply with the request, direction or requirement given by the officer.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;However a failure to comply with the direction given by the officer does not constitute an offence unless a warning under this secontion was given by the officer.&nbsp;<br><br>- a warning is not necessary if the individual has already complied with requests or is in the process of complying with the officer&nbsp;<br><br>- if there are numerous officers present on site only one officer is to comply with this section when exercising a power </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With reference to your chosen section and provisions stipulated under part 15 of LEPRA ‘Safeguards relating to powers’, prepare a brief outline of what a police officer can and cannot do&nbsp;</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;202 Police Officers to provide information when exercising powers</div><div>Within this section, it is the officer’s duty to be able to provide the following;&nbsp;</div><div>o &nbsp; evidence that they are a police officer</div><div>o &nbsp; Name and their duty within the police force</div><div>o &nbsp; Purpose behind why they are exercising there powers</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;They must fulfil these requirements to exercise these requirements.
