This has developed my skills as I had helped to decide the shots and has boosted my confidence a bit as I was in front of the camera for some of our shots and other shots. I did know how to do stuff as the week has gone on and on. 

do: The new skills that I applied is creativity as I have put ideas for the different camera angles. There were some barriers as it was raining over a couple of days so that had delayed us filming as 99% of our filming was outside and required open space. I am proud of doing the smoke bombs and the outcomes that it had come out on camera. 

Improve: I can improve on doing timings and not missing the deadlines as for when it rained we got stuck as we did not know what to do to complete the task.

Show: For the final product we will be screening it but for now I will put a print screen down below to use this is our evidence. 

Screening feedback: The feedback that I got I like because they were giving me improvement rather than praise because I can take it into an account and next time I could use's the feedback to make the product better. But I prefer criticism rather than praise because I now know what to do for next time. One person said to as little colour to different parts of the clips to make it more effective. But this had helped us take precaution of the public and the area that we are doing it in. Before this i did not know how to detect the safety precaution. But I can now take it into an account that I need to look for safety hazards. Some of the locations we had went to we did not agree to use that location as it is being a hazard or it is really muddy. This is hazard because it is very easy to slip on and may damage some equipment. 

Do: The new skills that I had learnt as well as applied is that I had being looking for good places to and see if this is a good place to film and if the smoke bombs can be hazardous. I do have some barriers as it is being in a public area as it is hard to find a place to get this done but it should be fine of filming it. I am proud find a good location to film and being apart of a good team that can help find different things go into the shot as well as the location.

Improve: I could improve in being more creative with shot ideas and being more productive with in my group.

Before this is did not know how to look at a location and communicate to decide on if this was a good location. After we had looked at the place in the photo as this is excluded from others as well as it is a open space.

Do; The new skills that I had applied is scouting as looking at location is crucial as it can give you an idea of what your plan is going to look like. Also we did have some barriers as we had to walk through the woods to get to the spot that we wanted to look at. I am proud of do the pre-production work. 

Improve: i could improve on communicating more with my group and focusing on my work a lot more.

I found this helpful as in the future I will be able to edit the final product of the music videos when practised it om premier pro. Before I had did this task I did not know what to do to make a short film the techniques that has to go into them and also I did not know how to edit a video before we done Dave's editing workshop. Before we could even make the video we had to chose from 6 film clips which were; Home Alone, Star Wars, Kindergardener Cop, Lord of the Rings, Alice in wonderland as well as Harry potter. While making the clips we had to look at the camera angles and tried to match them up with the movie that we chose.

Do: The new skills that I had developed are editing videos and that had made me more confident. As well as being in front of the camera. As this has made me more confident I can editing a video to make it more interesting. The film that we chose was home alone. We chose this clip because it was easier to explore and recreate.

Show: we had done this on a camera and a computer to edit. The will be a short clip at the bottom of this post on adlet for my evidence.

We got a idea where we were able to develop this idea of using different coloured flares that we could use for a symbol and use this as part of a formal element. Before this we did not know what to do as I found it difficult to do but as we got the ideas going we found it easier to come up with as we got this different ideas and we had put them down on a piece of paper.

Do: The skills that we applied is that we used our creative minds to come up with ideas for our music videos such as the different coloured flares. We completed this task by putting them down on a sheet of paper o when it comes to it we now know what we are going to do. There were some barriers as all of our padlet links
 not all connected together so we are going to sort this out by remaking this as we got the links wrong or etc. I am proud of the thing that we had done is coming up with different ideas that we can do with the music videos.

Improve: One thing that I can improve on is coming up with more ideas to do with the music video. As well as we had to produce a presentation to say why we would be like that specific role. The role that I went for was PR producer as I could do some creative stuff. This activity helped me because we had to learn about these roles and what the do as well as their responsibility's. I did not know what these main responsibility was until I had done some researched it.

Do: We had to create a presentation to say why we would like to do this role. The role that I had picked was PR Presentation because I have a creative mind and are able to identify different things that could go on to the poster and etc.

But I do have a activity that helped my knowledge, and that was by getting into a small group and thinking about what we would take onto a desert Island and this helped me as it got me working well within my group and build that confidence and get me to pitch in ideas of things that we could use and why we would use them. Also through the week we had created mind maps to do with our ideas to create a new and improved music video of our chosen song from our research. Before I had started this is did not know the context of this but as the week went on I had got used to it and it helped me a lot as well as I enjoyed it also.

Do: During this task I had applied some new skills such as thinking skills, I used this to come up with some ideas to create the remake of the music videos and everything to create it. Another thing is group work as we had to research to find songs and get them to describe in one word and also what they mean as well. There were some barriers as we were in a small room it was difficult as we had a limited amount of objects we could select. But this had developed my skills as I had used a lot more through out the week and I will be using in future as well as doing the final project.

Improve: To improve I will be doing a lot more creative description as I could use this when I was writing my parody, but even I am not doing a parody for my project I will still using this as I will be needing it for my set, costume, props and etc.  

Show: Finally I had used a Padlet post for the presentation of my mind map. I will be showing my mind maps down below of this padlet post that I am thinking of using for my final project. But if I have a idea I need to speak and tell they group and not be scared to. Doing the research helped me by testing my Knowledge of these and being able to identify these type of techniques in different music videos of every era (1970's, 1980's', 1990's, 2000's, 2010's). Also this has being helping my skills and helped to developing them. Before this task I did not know how to identify any of these techniques in any music videos but as the task went on it found it a lot easier to identify. This week we also found out our groups for the final project.

Do: During this task there was some barriers while is was working such as when I was doing the task for the earlier years (70's, 80's, 90's) as I was not able find anything to do with these techniques. But I tried to apply some research skills to this but I found this task to difficult to complete. But I am proud that I was able to complete these tasks before the deadline. On Wednesday session with karl we done group excursuses with in the groups that we found out on that day; we done drew colours from brightest to darkest on a sheet of paper and our group I would say exiled in this task but overall I had fun and also got some work done also.

This week in class we learnt about the 5 different types of music video technique (Cutting to the Image, Multi-Image, Camera Movements and Animation ). After the research for Karl we had to choose two songs from the ones that was researched and we had to create them in to a parody and a commercial. This helped my knowledge by getting ideas for the Final part of the project and making it and getting to know parody and commercial. Before this i did not know how to write a parody and a commercial.

Do:
I applied a different range of skills to this by researching as I need to do this more often to find different eras to look and analysis the different styles of each era.I completed this task by doing this on padlet and showing what I have applied to creating my own commercial and parody. The songs that I have chosen was Happy by Pharrell Williams for Parody and for Commercial I had chosen Hey Jude by the Beatles. I am very proud of this work as at first I found it hard as I didn't know what to do but when Karl explained it in detail to me I understood it a bit more. Before I posted it on to showbie, I had putted it on to a padlet along side the original as well as my own versions and named the padlet post my takes. The only barrier I had is that when I could not get an idea of what to write about on to the parody and commercial as it had to make sense also.

Improve:
To improve I could get more parody's to get more of an idea of what to do as I had found this to do my research on and to comment and there is hardly any in the late 1970's, 1980's as well as the 1990's because they took music seriously back then. And also I need to be a bit more creative when I came to do my parody and my commercial also. One of the activity's that have helped me is doing a padlet wall of the 4 music video category; Live in-concert, Narrative, Commercial and Parody. As well as doing my own research on youtube to find these music videos that I can use so far. This has developed my skills to identify the 4 category to in music videos and to get an video of creating my own music videos. I didn't really know anything before this project but now I know all different types of things like the 4 category of music. 

Do: I haven't completed the task for delta at all as it has just begun and the dead line in next week but so far I have applied my researched skills. There were a few barriers so far for Karl's task as it was hard to find the different Urban and Nature topic photos as most of them are fake or already edited so if found it hard to find unedited photos or Urban and Nature.

Show:I am presenting my work on Padlet for Deltas tasks and for Karl I will be doing 12 contact sheets on photo shop. There will be an image at the bottom of this post either of Karl's or Deltas work.

Improve: My improvements that I need to make is that I need to work a bit fast on Karl's work as I only left 2 contact sheets yesterday that I need to finish off. I need to apply more research for both Karl and Deltas work as I have been choosing the first one that I have been finding.
