Life is easy to stand by. As a medical practitioner, I swore the Hippocratic oath, to protect life, and to make sure I always understood my patient, and would do my best to care for them. As a Church leader, learned that life has an inherent sanctity, it should be protected at all costs. Life is precious, and it should never be up to us to take it away.

That's the simple answer

But what if it wasn't that simple? What if for one life to live, another has to suffer? What if the only way for a person to have a future, is to deprive another of theirs.

Abortion is not a black and white topic, there are many layers to it. There is the concern with the safety of the mother, of the child, the concern with the future of the mother and the child, as well as the circumstances they would be born into. There are some who agree that it should be legal, some who say it shouldn't, some who say there should be exceptions. It's my displeasure to say that it still does not end there.

Our beliefs often operate on different types of logic, one more realistic, the other more idealist. We create ideals for us to strive towards, one that can hopefully lead us to the answers we desire.

I have an ideal. A simple one.

That the world would be so beautiful, that there would be no need to abort. That the world, would be kind enough to offer opportunity even to those below the poverty line. That with enough drive and passion, even a single mother would be able to succeed and provide a future not only for her son, but for herself. Where if she spent all of her time and effort on providing for her family of two, she could and would still succeed and lead a meaningful life. A world where it would've been silly to even ask for an abortion, one where you know there will always be a way to make your life worthwhile, to make the world a worthwhile one for those who come next.

But my mother is not the standard. She is an exception.

I am an exception.

I had to realize that I do not live in the world of our ideals, I live in reality. A reality where the sanctity of life is bloodied, disrespected, and spit on by those above. A reality where the capitalist dream is the exception, not the rule. A reality where 15 year olds are raped, forced into marriages, killed. Those above enjoy the benefits of capitalism while they bar the entry for those below the poverty line; they make the poor fight among themselves for the scraps of society. One where the masses delude themselves into mass hysteria over the most mundane and meaningless topics while those in power blindfold them to what is really meaningful. A reality where the world is not coming together to save the planet, that while the earth is dying all we seem to care about are the arbitrary rules of a language that cannot even dream to encapsulate the human experience. A world where we are so busy fighting amongst ourselves that we don't ever try to look at the bigger picture.

Forgive me Lord if I cannot do what I must. If I cannot follow the life I ought to live.
That I cannot follow my ideals because I know in my heart that ideals are not applicable in this world.
Forgive me that I would do a heinous act that violates everything I believe in, but is something I must do, and have to do for the good of this woman and for her child.
I pray that you let her child rest in peace in the afterlife in your arms, and that if you would call this murder, it would be me that goes to hell, not this girl.

I am afraid that refusing to provide her with necessary services would lead her to seek out unsafe abortion practitioners, noting that 1,000 women die each year due to complications from illegal abortions in our country alone.

So what should be done? In my opinion, as both a religious authority figure and healthcare provider: we must put aside any personal beliefs or views about abortion itself for us all—the girl included—to make an informed choice about what is best for everyone involved here. We cannot allow our values or morals dictate someone else's free will when their safety and future are at stake, even if it means aborting this embryo so she can have some semblance of control over her own life going forward without having another mouth dependent on her already strained resources while living below poverty level conditions. This might not be easy, but sometimes hard decisions need to be made to resolve situations like these ethically yet compassionately too!

To achieve this goal, I must provide education about safe abortion practices to not put either party at risk of harm or injury due to a lack of knowledge or resources available in their environment. Additionally, I should make counseling services be made available so she can discuss her options with someone who understands what she's going through without judgment or biases from outside sources such as family, peers, or even religious members, which may lead them down an unsafe route if they feel pressured into making certain decisions without proper guidance from healthcare professionals like myself.

Therefore let us first remember that we must strive towards providing every patient, regardless of gender identity, race, religion, etc., access to quality care based on evidence-based practices rather than judgemental ones –and secondly —we can never forget our responsibility as professionals always prioritize health outcomes above anything else no matter how uncomfortable those conversations may become. After all, isn't helping people heal part of why we chose medicine/religion in the first place?

It makes sense for me to support abortion because I believe that everyone is entitled to what they want to do with their own body, especially women. In this day and age our society is progressing more and more to open up about women's struggles and their place in the grander scheme of things. From small issues or big, the reason to justify abortion is simple. It isn't our choice to make, but theirs. Religion may tell us that particular choice is a sin or a wrong doing, but is it really worth upholding a outdated and conservative worldviews? In my opinion, no. Although that choice to whether cut that seed from this earth is a big choice to make, it should ultimately go down to what the woman is capable of, as there would be no mistake in doing so. It's my job as a medical practitioner to help and if thats what they think that would help them, then its my job to do my best.

As a medical practitioner, I cannot in good conscience let the 15 year old girl who is in no condition to take care and raise a child, whether it’s financial issues or personal choice, have a child. I understand that some may argue that taking a life of an embryo is considered murdering a life due to the existence of a heartbeat and movement but I counterargue that placing a child into this world with parents or a single parent that can’t afford to raise them properly or even have the maturity to upbring another child while also developing into an adult is going to cause even more harm not just to the child but to the child’s parents, family and even loved ones and acquaintances they would meet in their lives with the trauma they could possibly accumulate with an empty or lacking childhood. We all deserve to be loved as children, we need to be nurtured and cared for. The problems and mentality that we have as adults are actually originated since childhood. Our self hatred, our depression, our anxieties, our anger towards others and ourselves, the little emotions and outlooks we have on life that we seem to not even know where they came from are actually from how we were treated and brought up as children. For example, one’s self hatred towards themselves. This could root from being neglected as a child, and of course, a simple child wouldn’t possibly think of blaming the parents for neglecting them since they see their parents as a superior. So they start to blame themselves for being neglected, they think to themselves that they are not good enough and that it is their fault that their parents don’t treat them well. This self hatred and self blaming can lead to adulthood and they may possibly even forget that this habit they have, rooted from childhood and just think that It is natural and that they were born with this negative mindset.

Point is, children deserve happy and healthy childhoods and upbringing and if the parent simply cannot give that to them and admits that they would rather not have a child at this time, then that’s the one true right decision, the parents’. No one should force them into a life of parenthood and force a life into this world where the child cannot be given the best possible childhood they could have. This 15 year old is a child themselves. They have dreams, aspirations, goals, and better yet, they have a life that needs to be further developed and evolved before they choose to bring another into this world.

Birth is a beautiful and sacred thing and I don’t think we should take it for granted and treat it like a minor subject when in reality we should give a right to every parent to choose if they are ready for that duty and responsibility. I understand that life is precious, so in line with that, wouldn’t it be better to give life when It is the right time in the parent’s life?

Dear God, I hope you can forgive me for taking part in this abortion. I know you have guided me in my decision and discernment and understand that what I have to do is right and just. It is for the betterment of your 15 year old child and her future, not only that but for her health and wellbeing too, Lord. Life is precious, so we must deliver it here on earth only If we are ready to give the child a good and loving life.

As a church leader and faithful steward of God, it is be my duty to uphold and promote my religious views. It is my responsibility and pleasure to share the gospel and bring people closer to my God.

However, in this scenario, the 15-year old didn't come to me as someone who was seeking advice on what she must do, she came to me as a patient asking to assist her. And as a medical practitioner who sweared by the Hippocratic Oath, I must act on the best interest of my client. I took a pledge to respect patient autonomy and to maintain confidentiality. It would be wrong of me to deny her the safe procedure I can guarantee, and instead she might go to a fake doctor who could complicate her situation further. I will not allow myself to commit that passive harm on a patient who entrusted me with her life.

If it gets out that I performed the procedure, then others in the church community may condemn me for my decision. I may even lose my leadership position in the church; however, I will not let myself be phased by their comments because I stand by my decision. I will be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that the girl is safe and that I showed her that I respected her rights as a woman. I will be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that her child is not suffering on earth, but is being taken care of in heaven by the Lord's angels.

I also believe that my God will forgive me. He will forgive me because He knows my heart.

I can not, in good conscience, turn this girl away. I will help her go through the process safely. This is the decision she chose to make, and making this choice must have been difficult for her. Rejecting her and throwing her out would be doing a disservice to the time she had spent making this decision and gathering the courage to do what she needed to do. Other than that, she has mentioned that she is below the poverty line. This means that she may struggle with raising the hypothetical child and might have trouble taking care of herself as well.

Forcing her to keep it would be putting both her and the hypothetical child at risk. At fifteen years old, she would be too young to take care of it. Aside from that, forcing her to keep it might endanger her, as there have been studies stating that teenage mothers are at a higher risk of contracting certain illnesses. If I were to drive her away, I would possibly have her risk her own life by putting herself in the hands of people who are not professionally trained to handle abortions. As a doctor, I could not live with the fact that I had put a child at risk due to my own personal beliefs.

Lastly, as a person, I am aware of the argument that she could simply give the child up for adoption. However, as a person who was adopted by a family, I can also say that the argument does not take the child into account. Although I was lucky enough to be legally adopted as an infant, there are articles that mention how other children who were given up for adoption end up “aging out” and growing into adulthood without ever actually getting adopted. In an article written by Cody Cepeda in 2019, it was revealed that there are not enough adoptive families in the country, and that the process is too slow.

Although I was blessed and adopted into a family, my parents had told me how difficult the process was. It took a long time for them to go through the legal process of actually adopting me, and there was even a period of time wherein my caretakers at the time refused to release me to them after they found out that my parents’ biological son, my brother, had special needs. I was made aware of the ableism in the system, and how arduous it is to adopt a child, if there are any families who are willing to adopt at all. Because of this, I cannot agree with people who try to argue that the child should have the baby and give it up for adoption, since I know that they do not care for the young girl or the baby they are forcing her to have.

Helping her would be the best option, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that she goes through this safely.

As a religious church leader and a medical practitioner, I would face a significant moral and ethical dilemma if a poor teenage girl approached me, requesting an abortion an act I personally oppose. As a medical practitioner, I have a professional duty to provide the best possible care to my patients without any bias, while also adhering to medical ethics, standards and laws. However, as a church leader, I may hold religious and moral beliefs that consider abortion to be a sin and morally wrong as the sanctity of human life is being severely undermined.

My initial response would be to ensure that the teenage girl has access to all the information and resources she needs to make an informed decision. I would provide her with counseling and support for parenting, adoption, and abortion, explaining the risks and benefits of each option. It is crucial that she is enlightened to make a decision of such gravity.

As a church leader, I would also provide guidance and counseling on the religious and moral implications of the decision to terminate a pregnancy. I would urge the teenager to consider the value of human life and to explore all options that would preserve the life of the unborn child. As a medical practitioner, I would ensure that she is aware of the medical risks associated with the procedure and that she is making an informed decision, free from coercion or pressure from others.

While I may hold strong religious beliefs that oppose abortion, I would strive to approach this situation with empathy and respect. I would recognize that every situation is unique, and the teenage girl may have a valid reason to seek an abortion. In such cases, it is essential to respect her autonomy and provide non-judgmental/confrontational support.

It is essential to note that the issue of abortion is complex and multifaceted, with differing perspectives and opinions based on personal, religious, ethical, and cultural beliefs. As a medical practitioner, it is my responsibility to provide safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate treatment to my patients. However, as a church leader, I must also provide guidance and counseling on the religious and moral implications of decisions that the church holds for such acts.

In situations where my medical and religious obligations conflict, I would seek guidance from my spiritual advisors and medical advisers. It is crucial to approach this issue with utmost importance. It is only through thoughtful and respectful dialogue that we can create an environment where women are empowered to make informed decisions about their reproductive health while also upholding religious and moral values.

Furthermore, the teenage girl is not the only person affected by the decision to terminate a pregnancy. The future of the unborn child is also at stake, and it is crucial to approach this situation with care and compassion as a society, we must also address the root causes of unplanned pregnancies, including access to education, contraception, and healthcare.

In conclusion, despite being a firm believer and devout follower of the church, I have to do what is right as a medical practitioner with a heavy heart in case the girl still pushes with her decision to abort her child. I already did my best in educating her to the best of my capabilities and the decision fully lies in her hand.

Deep inside, I know I tried my best and my conscience is clean...

As a church leader, abortion is one of the most terrible act a person can do. Abortion is a direct attack on the human life, one of the principles in Christianity. Abortion is an intentional killing of an innocent, defenseless child that is yet to be born, and this is an act that is against God’s teaching.

The first reason on why abortion is terrible is because it goes against God’s commandment which is the ‘ thou shall not kill’ . All of us are precious in the eyes of god and abortion is a direct violation of this commandment. Abortion is an act of violence against the unborn child and intentionally ending the life of a child in the womb is a rejection for the gift of life given by God.

The second reason is that abortion can deal devastating psychological and emotional effects to women who undergo the procedure. Abortion can lead to feelings of guilt, shame and regret on them which can impact their mental and emotional health. Some women who had abortion suffer from mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and etc. this can lead to addiction, self harm and even suicide. This is something that should concern us all as abortion is a terrible act due to the mentioned reasons.

As a church leader and a medical practitioner, I would advise that the girl get an abortion. My job as a church leader should not get in the way of the oath I have taken as a medical practitioner. It is the girl's choice to get an abortion, and given her circumstances, it would be the best decision for her.

Denying her an abortion doesn't just put her at risk of finding unsafe ways to get one; if she doesn't get one, then she will be forced to give birth to a child in unsafe conditions. This child will then have to be taken care of, and this responsibility will fall on the girl. She is below the poverty line and only 15 years old; she does not have the proper resources or time to raise the child. Giving the child to foster care also won't fix the child's life. The foster care system is incredibly broken and unfair, and not a lot of children actually end up in a nice family. Going through with giving birth might also kill her in the process, leaving the child without a mom or even coming out of the womb dead.

It's these risks that make abortion the safest and most humane option. I would rather not have a child live in poverty with a mother who has no experience taking care of a child and no intention of having one in the first place. The child does not deserve the life that it will be put into, and the mother doesn't deserve to be denied the procedure.

Even if I get backlash from the church, it is my duty as a church leader to explain the nuance that went into creating my decision to the people who look at me with high regard. Even if I lose my position as church leader, my oath to make the most ethical decisions for my patients will remain unbroken.

The conflict in this situation stems from the fact that I am a church leader, and because of this, I am expected to abide by the commandments of God. By going through with the abortion, I would be taking someone's life, but as with all things, there is nuance to the situation. It's my job as a church leader to share these nuanced situations with my community. Even if it leads to backlash and people leaving the church, I would rather have a small group of people who are able to sympathize and traverse nuanced topics than people who blindly follow faith.

Abortion. Not an easy topic when it comes to both medical and religious conversations. People today are still torn between doing what's best for the client and what society tells them is best for the client.

As a trained medical practitioner and a religious leader, I have learned that life is sacred and valuable and that it is important to prioritize the health and well-being of both the mother and the unborn fetus. That being said, for me to prioritize the health of both parties I would have to go forward with the abortion of the unborn fetus. This teenage woman who is under the poverty line may not be able to support a child at this point in her life. Additionally, this 15-year-old woman has come to me for help, if I decline I only put her at risk by allowing her to go out and seek help from different medical practitioners who may be unsafe.

As a professional, I am fully aware of the potential consequences of my actions in this situation. I understand that my decision to provide support for the abortion of an unborn fetus may be in conflict with certain religious beliefs and societal expectations. However, I believe that it is important to prioritize the well-being and safety of my patient and to provide them with the care and support they need in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

As a man, we do not have the right to control what a woman can or cannot do with her body, but for me I support and believe in the freedom woman have to choose weather to keep the child or not. At the end of the day, it is there body so it is also their choice on what they want to do with it. From a different point, woman must also bear the consequences of what they will do but like I said, it is their body and their responsibility.

To answer the question "will I assist", I simply wont. From a church leader's standpoint, there are multiple options that woman can do to avoid abortion such as gifting the child to an orphanage. At this scenario, the 15-year-old approched me and as a church leader I am lucky to have a chance to somewhat help guide her to the better path that is there to choose from. Unfortunatley, its still there choice what they want to do with their body and all I can do is layout the pros and cons. It is also a sin for me and her to do such a thing and I cant bear it no matter what it is up to her if she wants to push through and commit the sin but like I said earlier it is their responsibility to conquer and I want nothing to do with it.

From a medical practitioner's standpoint, I will also decline to assist simply because I am bound by the hipocratic oath to save lives no matter what rather than harm them. Yes it will mean that the 15-year-old will be going someplace more dangerous but if that what she really wants, then she must be willing to risk her life for it.

As a Church leader and medical practitioner, the question of morals and ethics is deeply challenged. On one hand, it would morally wrong to abort the fetus as killing any form of life goes against God's 6th commandment. However, it would also be ethically wrong to deny her service as she could end up resorting to unsafe ways of abortion such as ingesting harmful chemicals, wire hanger method etc. and could end up killing not only the baby, but herself as a result.

Because of this, I believe that the overall best option would be to take the girl in as a patient and perform the operation to the best of my ability. While some people argue that this is murder as the fetus is already "alive", according to an article by Medical News Today, a fetus develops a heartbeat around the 5th to 6th week of pregnancy. Only by the 10th week of pregnancy is the heartfully developed. Because the said girl is only a week pregnant, I don't believe that it could be classified as the murder of a life quite yet. Aside from this, there is also the question of the baby's future. Seeing as she is only 15 years old, it is highly unlikely that she will be able to support and raise the baby by herself, especially with her living under the poverty line. The end result is that she is only going to make her life harder and bring yet another child into poverty.

In the end, the topic of abortion is not always clear as black and white. However, we must consider whether the person having the baby has the means to raise the child well, or make not only their but also the child's life a difficult one in the future.

As a Church leader, it is my duty and honor to promote the beliefs and teachings of God, so that goodness may be spread all over the world and eternal peace may be restored. However, what would I do when a pregnant girl, 15 years of age, coming from the poverty line, seeks my assistance for the abortion of her child? My answer is simple. As a professional medical practitioner, it is my duty to assist those in need and in any way possible, regardless of social standing, morals, and beliefs. I swore to do so after all. Life is a sacred thing of course, however, when humans are faced with the possibility of death, we can’t help but think to put our lives at the forefront of our minds, right? It is only natural that we seek to preserve our own well-being in the face of danger. Though there are some cases wherein one gives their life for the sake of others, not everyone shares the same mind to do so. They aren’t in the wrong either, the latter. That being said, my being a medical practitioner will override my being a Church leader. It does not matter if my power as a Church leader is stripped away, so long as I have the skills, tools, knowledge, and power to help those in need, I will. And should I be viewed as a sinner in the eyes of many, and in the eyes of God, then I must ask for his forgiveness.

Who are we to decide who lives and who doesn't but God?

This is a question for the ages, a thought worth cogitating on, and a specific phrase commonly used by those who seek to justify their opposition to the practice of Abortion. And this particular phrase is what I have stood for as a Church leader-- a follower of God

But, on the other side of the coin, I am Medical Practitioner-- an individual with whom people go to entrust their safety; even their lives. And, it is part of our oath to value our patient's choices and decisions regarding medical procedures and such.

Consent is a very important part of the medical field. Every medical choice, medicinal prescription, medical equipment, and many more require the patient's consent to be used. If a patient seeks my professional guidance upon aborting their unborn child, then I would agree.

Technicalities aside; from a moral standpoint, I would still completely stand up for the number of women who seek to choose bodily autonomy and their rights to make a choice for their own well-being and health. As a church leader, this is quite a controversial take. But I personally believe that one must learn to separate their religious beliefs and avoid projecting this unto your decisions and actions in your chosen profession. As a medical practitioner, I have to instill this objective truth in my practices.

However, I would still be brought upon by another moral dilemma. If we dissect the scenario further, we will come to find that the patient is of 15 years of age-- a minor who cannot legally consent to the abortion process.

I fear this would cause them to resort to unsafe abortion clinics and procedures. So, in this situation, I am morally AND ethically obligated to contact this minor's parents and inform them of the situation at hand and ask if they consent to their child's abortion. If they provide me with their consent, then I will comply. If not, then I would take the time and effort to calmly explain their child's situation and how their choice can potentially put their child at a harmful disposition- medically, physically (and if I am a medical practitioner in the field of counseling and therapy: emotionally and mentally.).

If the parents still choose 'no' as their final decision. Then I would respect it. After all, consent is very important in the medical field. However, I would still try, with all of my power, to provide help to the 15-year-old child. If needed and/or asked, I can start by offering centers and programs that could be of help to her if she happens to conceive her baby. I would also offer her my services if she seeks medical care for herself and her child.

Sometimes, life doesn't go the way we want it to. We cannot erase the fact that Abortion is still viewed and considered a taboo topic by the majority of the citizens and generations in this country. There will always be a negative connotation that surrounds it and we cannot avoid the set of people who fail to see the bigger perspective-- often too blinded by their strong faith and religion. With this, I will just accept that there are certain things that I am deprived of doing so; as hindered by my field and the professionalism that comes with being a medical practitioner. However, that does not mean that I would not try my absolute best and exhaust all of my efforts to fight for what I believe is right and extend my help to the women who are in need of it.

As a Church leader with a Medical background, I will advise without hesitation—abortion. Given the 15-year-old girl's deteriorating state as she is living below the poverty line, raising and bearing an infant is the last straw that will cause her ultimate demise. Several factors back this decision. One is the physical aspect. A teenager surviving the hardships of carrying a newborn isn't guaranteed as they are always in critical condition as their body is still developing. Although some teens who proceed with their pregnancies turned out to be successful, however, this isn't assured that everyone will have the same fate. From a medical practitioner's standpoint, abortion is a medical procedure that can be necessary to protect the health and well-being of the patient. As a medical professional, I have a duty to provide care that is safe, effective, and adheres to the best interests of the patient. However, it's also worth noting that medical professionals have different views on the moral and ethical implications of abortion. Some may view it as a necessary medical procedure that can save lives, while others may object to it on moral or religious grounds. From a church leader's standpoint, the view on abortion may depend on the specific denomination or religion. Some religious leaders may view abortion as morally wrong and a violation of the sanctity of life. But speaking from a personal perspective, I would rather accept backlash and even the ousting from a religious group, instead of making an ignorant decision just for the sake of being accepted and for religious fallacy. Logic and the principles of validity should always be prioritized. In view of the fact that if we won't break from this conceited and flawed thinking, we ourselves become enablers to a cycle of impoverished and struggling people.

I support abortion. In these times, people are really focused on what they want to do and achieve in life and they should focus on their priorities. If a woman sees the need to abort an unwanted pregnancy, I think that she is entitled to do so. The fast paced modern society that we live in can be unforgiving and brutal, so a woman does not have to feel obligated to push through with something as serious and difficult as an unwanted pregnancy. If a woman's partner also sees the need to abort an unwanted pregnancy, this will also benefit the two of them as a couple if they agree on this choice.

Some church leaders view abortion as a sin and believe that life begins at conception, and therefore, the termination of a pregnancy is equivalent to taking a life. Other church leaders may recognize that abortion is a complex issue and may advocate for policies that promote the well-being of both the mother and the child.

It's worth noting that there is a spectrum of beliefs and opinions on abortion, even within the medical and religious communities. So to her benefit, I would strongly recommend going through the procedure because it would greatly benefit her not only financially but also emotionally from not having the burden of taking care of another human at such a young age. Another reason for me to recommend the procedure is because I do not know how the girl got pregnant in the first place—was it because of something terrible? I wouldn’t know because I am not in her place, so I shouldn’t dictate what she should get or not get because that is her choice; I am only here to provide information and options for her situation. Lastly, even if I am a church leader, I shouldn’t be telling women what they should and shouldn’t do with their bodies because I am someone who doesn’t have the same reproductive parts as a woman does, so why dictate a life I neither have nor can experience? It all seems very disingenuous of a church leader to do.

Churches generally opposes against abortion as they believe it as taking a human life. As a church leader however, it is important for me to look at the bigger picture and analyze all of the factors at play. I should also know that I do not have full control on the girl's decision. I do not know her nor do we have any connections. At the end of the day, it is her choice on what she wants to do and her future is not my control. My only job is to give her advice and to try to convince her on whatever is best for her situation and to help as much as I can.

Some people nowadays siding with abortion just worry about the unborn child, but they don't often look at who the mother is and what made her make the decision, and in this case, I think it is completely justifiable.

First off, she is only 15 years old. She is most likely still halfway through highschool and has a lot to worry about.

As a church leader, I know abortion opposes my views and beliefs but as a medical practitioner, I believe that the 15-year old girl should proceed with an abortion. Not only she would become a teenage mother, she would also be giving up her life. There is just too much difficulties coming into her life if she decides to keep the baby and a girl at her age should never ever have to face any of those. It would be the best decision for her life moving on.

Abortion may be a sin but as a church leader, I know God knows we are sinners and He still forgives us for that. Getting an abortion may be a sin but not getting one will forever change the 15-year old girl's life. She would have too much responsibilities and it could force her to drop-out of school. She would lose her teenage years and would be forced to grow up sooner than others. Not only would she be taking care of a baby at such a young age, but she would also be taking care of it while living on the poverty line. This is just too much for not only a 15-year old girl but for anyone.

Yes, committing sin is bad. It damages your bond with God and it is something I should not promote as a church leader. But God knows we are not perfect and that we are sinners. He will forgive us every time we commit sinful acts. Although, in this situation I do not really consider this as a sin. Yes, it may take a life but it will forever ruin and torture the teenage girl's life. She has not yet even finished her high school years she should be allowed to still live her life as a young teenager and not be forced to mature faster than others and take on the responsibilities of a parent.

Another crucial part of making the decision whether to go through with the abortion or not is that it should be her choice. I am a man and it is impossible for me to ever be in her position. I do not have the right to decide what this girl shall do for it is not my body. It is her body and her choice and people should respect that.

As a medical practitioner and a church leader, I will help this girl in every step. I will do my best in finding safe abortion clinics so her life would not be at risk. I will not leave this girl's side during this time of her life. I may be disobeying God if I give her my full support but I just can not force myself to tell her to not go through with the abortion knowing what could happen to the rest of her life.

What's terrible is that you force this young woman into keeping the child that you know she can't take care of or properly sustain needs at such a young age- and you hindering them from having abortion to a child they knew they can't provide for is no different from stripping them off of their right to live life as teens.

I firmly believe that the Church nor people should not dictate on how women or young girls should do and what not to do on their body.

The stigmatization of abortion has been around for many years, as there numerous debates regarding this taboo topic. Experts in the field of social science argue that abortion must be allowed and implemented in various countries because it is a women's right to dictate what they want to do with their bodies. Furthermore, medical professionals claim that embryos are technically not alive, as these people believe that it takes several weeks for a fetus to reach personhood. However, these ideologies are rejected by different belief systems - such as Christianity and Islam. These religions heavily rely on the concept that every creature in this world is alive, even if that organism is a fetus or embryo.

As a religious leader who adheres to the concept of morality, I am aware that abortion disputes my perspective and principles. However, as a medical practitioner who acts in accordance with ethical guidelines, it is my obligation to help and access the necessities of patients. I firmly believe that abortion is the best option for her situation, especially that she is living in poverty without proper financial and psychological support from her parents or significant other. We must not shed some bad light on the topic of abortion, as it helped a copious amount of women throughout the centuries with their sudden and unwanted pregnancies from men, and saved them from dying from hypertension or heart-related diseases due to the intense feeling of giving birth. In addition, let us also put into account the situation of the upcoming baby. Personally, it hurts how children are being forsaken by their parents, and how these people neglect to provide the children’s needs and wants, such as healthy sustenance, clean clothing, and proper shelter.

I am aware of the fact that abortion is a sin but I will never put my patient in a dire situation where she needs to pick between her life or the baby's life. I know that God would forgive my action of saving a young teenager's life despite conducting an abortion procedure on her baby.

Even as a church leader my Hippocratic Oath stands above to help the 15 year old child. A point of view many people have when talking about abortion is "why would you kill an unborn baby?" While that is a valid question, the point of view I want you to hold in this case is "why make the child-parent and baby suffer even more?" The 15 year old can barely hold on as they are on the poverty line, while giving her a child to bear and take care of. As someone who's been a baby once, I can tell you that taking care of one is extremely expensive. Even in the lawless land of the United States, though their president Joe Biden is a devout Christian, he still held the belief that abortion and it's necessary facilities are needed even if it goes against his faith.

If I was a church leader or a medical practitioner, with no hesitation I would support to abort. Abortion is a controversial and sensitive topic that often sparks intense debates and emotions. There are those who argue that it is a woman's right to choose what she does with her own body, while others believe that it is immoral and goes against the sanctity of life. While both sides have valid points, I firmly believe that women should have the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion.

To begin with, every woman has the right to control her own body and make decisions that are in her best interest. This includes the decision to have an abortion. No one should be forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term and go through the physical and emotional toll that it entails. It is not only a matter of bodily autonomy but also a matter of mental health and well-being. A woman who is not ready to be a mother should not be forced to become one, as it could negatively impact her life and the life of her child.

Furthermore, the argument that abortion is immoral and goes against the sanctity of life is flawed. The fetus may have the potential to become a human being, but until it is born and takes its first breath, it is not yet a living person. It is a potential life, but not a life in the true sense of the word. Moreover, there are situations where the health of the mother may be at risk if she carries the pregnancy to term, making abortion the only viable option.

Even when it comes to the perspective of the church, it is paradoxical because they promote the sanctity of life while failing to consider the complexities of real-life situations. It can lead to a lack of compassion towards women who are struggling with difficult decisions.

Finally, it is important to consider the social and economic factors that come into play when it comes to abortion. Many women who seek abortions do so because they cannot afford to raise a child or provide for their family. By denying them access to safe and legal abortions, we are pushing them further into poverty and potentially subjecting their children to a life of hardship.

In conclusion, supporting abortion is not about promoting promiscuity or a lack of responsibility, but rather about ensuring that every woman has the right to make decisions that are in her best interest. It is about providing access to safe and legal abortions for women who need them, and recognizing that sometimes the most compassionate thing we can do is to support a woman's right to choose.

As a church leader and medical practitioner should be guided by beliefs and philosophies that incorporate my values in terms of respect for life.

In terms of Kantian ethics, or the second formula of Kant’s categorical imperative, argues that we are ends to ourselves which means that we have a duty to respect and take care of our own bodies. Instances wherein a woman's bodily autonomy is disregarded or placed in imminent danger, the duty of humans to be able to treat others as ends in themselves is scrapped or if through carrying a fetus to term, the woman’s life is endangered. It is important to take note that for Kant, humans are to be respected because we have the capacity to be able to examine and rationalize actions and situations undertaken. The argument of whether or not intrauterine existence counts as personhood enters the conversation again. Factually speaking, a fetus does not have the capability to be able to reason and reflect to be able to act morally, however, the mother does. Making abortion morally permissible.

Additionally, with a utilitarian approach, this states that the acceptance of what is morally wrong and what is morally right is based on the outcomes– whether or not these actions would produce the greatest good for the greatest number of people. Many pro-life arguments regarding abortion are rooted from the significance and respect of any future that living humans, fetus included, can achieve. The argument “the baby could be the next Elon Musk” or “the baby could be the doctor who cures cancer!” has been used time and time again. Consider an example of taking an unborn child to term in this economy as parents underneath the poverty line. Access to abortion would give the couple and their family a chance to be able to experience physical, psychological, and financial ease. Another argument is the concept of opportunity and luck. To be the next Elon Musk, or a doctor, or even an artist, one must consider that opportunities and luck that may have been laid out for others, may not be laid out for the fetus. Another critical example would stem back to situations where inhumane disregard for a woman’s bodily autonomy is experienced. Carrying a product of such violence is not beneficial for all. This may cause severe psychological trauma for both the mother and the child if carried to term. In that case, both the right to live a safe and healthy life is unachievable. Instances of fetal complications and medical concerns would risk both the child’s future and the mother’s well-being in carrying the fetus to term. This situation then, under a utilitarian perspective, is morally acceptable.

“If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."
- Exodus 21:22

This Bible verse has been the automatic go-to of diehard, conservative Christians whenever they defend their stance of abortion being equivalent to murder. However, even modern interpretations of this verse all point to miscarriages, not abortions. The phrase "life for life" is also debatable, in terms of its meaning and impact on the decisions being made; not just by doctors, but also by government leaders who don't seem to understand how to draw the line between their own beliefs and scientific facts.

Research shows that a one-month-old embryo is nothing but a heartbeat. Why should we scream 'murder' for the removal of something no bigger than a grain of rice? Why do we consider it alright to "pull the plug" on braindead patients, for the sake of mercy and practicality, but call teenage girls with unplanned pregnancies 'selfish killers'? If life is the point of concern, what about the life of the mother?

The 15-year-old girl who lives under the poverty line will not be able to sustain her child. What about her life? Should we really force our textbook principles onto people who will have to live with the consequences of OUR DECISIONS? As a Church leader, I teach others to "Love thy Neighbor." Love should not be selfish, but denying that girl of having an abortion will be.

Yes, I am a Church Leader, but leading means adapting to your followers. Times are changing, and so should we.

From the perspective of a medical professional, abortion is a medical procedure done to end a pregnancy. We took the hippocratic oath to practice medicine with integrity, honesty, and respect for human life. It is our responsibility to assess and respect the women's health and how it could affect the baby. abortion may be done for a number of reasons, including health problems, fetal abnormalities, or the woman's preference. The goal of medical experts who perform abortions is to guarantee that the process is safe, legal, and that the woman's autonomy and rights are upheld. A church leader's views on abortion may differ based on the particular religious denomination and how religious texts are interpreted. Nonetheless, a lot of religious authorities believe that abortion is immoral and violates the sacredness of life. Some people think that since life begins at conception, having an abortion is the same as taking a human life. They might also contend that abortion is immoral and harms women. Although, the church should have the power to uphold the rights of a woman's choice to keep the baby or not. Afterall, it is a choice that the individual should make without outside interference.

As a church leader, you must be mindful of the religious and moral implications of abortion. It is a contentious issue that has divided opinions for decades. Your role as a religious leader is to counsel the girl on the spiritual and ethical implications of her actions. It is crucial to have an open and honest dialogue with the girl, to understand her motives, and to guide her towards making the right decision.

As a medical practitioner, you must adhere to professional standards and legal requirements. However, my responsibility as a medical practitioner outweighs my religious beliefs, and if the 15 year old girl were to be safer getting an abortion assisted by me, then I would not hesitate to give her the support she needs.

I believe that we shouldn’t bar access to abortions, as this would only result in women resorting to more unconventional and dangerous methods for abortion.
