         <description><![CDATA[<p>For over two decades, I've stood at the front of the classroom. On the surface, I'm the dedicated teacher, the supportive SENDCo, the storm in the calm (sometimes the other way around!) of a busy school environment. But beneath that exterior lies a story of resilience, understanding, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.</p><p><br></p><p>Growing up, ADHD wasn't a term familiar to anyone, especially not for girls. My struggles were labelled as “too quiet”, laziness, forgetfulness, to being “too much”. As a teenager and young adult, I oscillated between masking my differences and in destructive coping mechanisms. It was a tough journey marked by self-doubt and isolation.</p><p><br></p><p>Today, with a BA (Hons), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NASENCO (Qualified SENDCo), a Post-Graduate Certificate in SEND and Inclusion, and an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Well-being, I'm determined to shed light on the experiences of neurodivergent people. I’ve faced the challenges of SEND, ADHD, auditory processing issues, fertility struggles, and body image concerns firsthand, and I understand the immense pressure to conform.</p><p><br></p><p>This resource is my way of reaching out to those who feel lost, misunderstood, or alone. I promise to be your advocate, and your biggest cheerleader.</p><p><br></p><p>Let's embark on this journey together.</p>]]></description>
