1. The tree in the story showcase her good traits — giving, kind, reliable, and helpful. But as her downside, the tree don’t know how to set her boundaries to the point that she is being abused by the boy.

2. In the beginning of the story, the boy was a jolly and a playful boy. But as he grows up, he used the tree as a "friend of convenience" and abused it and became ungrateful and greedy. He would only come back to the tree when he needed it.

3. We can compare the tree to our Parents. Because they are willingly to give our needs and wants. They also sacrifice theirselves and their own joy just for our happiness.

4. The life lesson that we picked up in the story is to set boundaries and don’t be too nice. We need to set our boundaries because setting boundaries is one way for people to respect us and setting our own boundaries is a way of respecting ourselves too. Don't be too nice because there are time we are unconscious that we are being abused by others.

5. We enjoyed listening to the audio book because the story started with a kid and a tree which tickled our interest to delve deeply and to make guess what will happen next in the story. Overall, the story was engaging and we can get a lesson from the story.

MEMBERS:

CASTILLO, John Matthew

MAGTANUM, Roschelle

BACONGCO, Wilson

SAPIDA, JohnEriek

SANICO, Monalyn

LAMBOJO, Alexis

1.) We would describe the tree as a great symbol iof love, sacrifice, and experience between humanity and nature.

2.) In the story he represented how he takes advantage to the tree knowing that the tree will give him everything and he don't need to work because he is used to rely on the tree all the time.

3.) To my mother because just like the tree my mother can do everything and give everything just to make us happy even if she's tired and exhausted.

4.) The lesson we have learned after watching the story of "the giving tree" are to be thankful of what we recieved, not to rely on others, and to not take advantage on people who are open handed to us. We've also learned that we should put limitations on being too generous on other people.

5.) On the first part of the story we enjoyed it but as the boy grew older and how he treats the tree Irretates us but the ending was good so we really enjoy it.

1. How would you describe The Tree in the story?

I describe the tree as a loving tree because no matter what things that the boy wishes him to give him he always gives it with no question and hesitation. She was like so kind and she's giving the one call away friend vibes.

2. How would you describe the boy?

The boy can be perceived as conceited and becoming increasingly aloof as he ages. At first, he enjoys happiness and company from the tree, but subsequently, he takes use of it for his own ends without showing the same kind of thanks or care. His greedyness are the only thing he showed during the whole scenario/story.

3. whom can you compare The Tree in your life? Explain.

I would love to compare the tree as my Mom, my Mom is a very kind, loving, hard working and has a provider mindset. The first time i hear what does the tree says, i immidiately think about how the tree and my mom have the same personalities because even though we all know that everything is not our mothers responsibility, she would do it just for us to be happy. Even though there are no any exchange for the sacrifices they have made for us but just for us to be happy, they would do everything.

4. life lessons does this story teach us?

The change and acceptance. The will to give, to love and to inspire. As we grow older, our needs and desires change, and it's essential to learn to accept those changes and adapt accordingly. And happiness and contentment. The story teaches us to find happiness in simple things and not always seek material possessions or external validation for our contentment.

5. How's your experience reading and listening to the audio book? Did you enjoy? Why or why not?

Reading and listening to the audio book is essential to those readers who wants to have a deep understanding about what they read and what they have heard. We've enjoyed everything while watching and listening to the audio. Because, we don't need to use our imagination while reading and hearing the audio. It has an audio with video.

We enjoy every scenario in the video and it actually help us as a person to have the will to give and to love.

Pedutem, Chris Johnwayne B.

Pagaduan, Janreb Vann Cainne

Patricio, Kristhanel

Quinonez, Juan Rafael

Rivero, Jairos

1. How would you describe The Tree in the story?

The tree stood as an encompassing figure in the story. it resemble that of innocence as well as the transitory of time. A contrast is shown between the boy ‘growing up’ and the tree as it withered piece by piece. Throughout the story, the tree often appear as ‘happy’ and would gladly adhere to the boy's wishes on such a great degree. It exemplifies one's tendency to be self-sacrifing; driven by the need to please and be seen, so much so that it consumes a great part of themselves.

2. How would you describe the boy?

The boy mirrors a certain element of growth and youth. we could see a tiny glimpse of ourselves upon the character of the 'boy', akin to the boy's relation with the tree, we've spent our childhood with toys, though after we age, we have found that there is no longer pleasure in it except for the nostalgia that we've attached to it. The depiction of the boy's desire and how it went from seeking the joy that comes with the tree's presence to him cutting it down for materialistic means.

3. To whom can you compare the tree in your life? explain.

Upon reflection, I found a deep resonance with the tree; it's loneliness and the vastless passion to serve those that seeks its company and help. Despite of having to cut almost half of me in the process, as always, i am nothing but delighted by it, because for once, my presence felt needed and acknowledged.

4. What life lessons does the story tell us?

Impermanence; that when we grow up, we also grew out of things, our life changes its course and so does our own perception of it.

5. How’s your experience reading and listening to the audiobook? Did you enjoy it? Why or why not?

In this short yet delicate journey of a story, i find a tinge of melancholy, i feel for the tree as i do with the boy. Though, after reading, the tree felt more intimately close to me, its long time spent in isolation, the strong willingness to give itself to anyone that would wish it. This story felt like a warm hug from a friend of whom i haven't seen in a while, the ones we grew out from yet still held close to our hearts, its a story that would take your hand and lull you into the calm murmur of emotions.

Members:

Lagoras, Mary Joy

Tenedero, Loreta

Elejer, Erica

Verano, Lelian

Brigole, khim noah

Sudio, jodie

1. We described the tree as a very generous and selfless tree. All she ever wanted was for the boy to be happy without minding herself. Her priority was the boy's happiness that she doesn't mind giving all that she have in order to give the boy the happiness he wants. Not once did she asked for something back, just the boy's happiness.

2. He was joyful and lovely when he was a kid. However the story shows how the boy changes the more he grow.

3. I think the closest thing that can be compared of the sacrifice of the village tree in our life is our parents because they dedicate their lives for us to organize and improve our lives in the present they are the ones who make sacrifices to give us what we need and to achieve our dreams and our future.

4. The life lesson this story teaches us is that we should appreciate someone who's giving us our wants and is always there for us without expecting anything in return.

5. We enjoyed watching the story. There is so much to learn in that short video. Our group thinks that it is very relevant in our own environment be it inside the school or outside. It is a reminder that there's a limit to being generous and to always be grateful.

1. If we were to be one of the tree, we will dream to be something of use. We would want to be a house where a family or an individual can be safe. A house that could withstand any storm and provide shelter and warmth.

2. We sympathize with the trees. We believed that they all have beautiful innocent dreams and after knowing what their dreams are, we anticipated for the good that will happen only to be surprised with what the three woodcutter did to each of them.

3. The life lesson from the story that we learned is that we all live to have a dream, to have that dream, it is a purpose. Just because the odds are not in your favor at the moment, it does not mean that is all that is planned for you. The importance of having faith in God is to always know that he is waiting for the right moment to give you what he planned for you.

4. We enjoyed it very much. With the integration of figures of speech, the story is very meaningful and inspiring. Its symbolism is what makes it very appealing to the watchers / listeners.

Disillusioned; As illustrated with the tree's, we could be so enfolded in our desires and idealizations that we failed to realize our true predestined path was far from what we envisaged.

1. the characters in the play are Mario, his wife Gloria, and his old friend Pablo.

The main problem in the play is POVERTY and how it forces Mario to make difficult choices. Mario is unable to provide for his family's basic needs, which leads him to return to his old life of crime.

Mario's goal is to provide a decent life for his family, especially for his daughter. He wants to live honestly and to be able to provide for their needs.

to attain his goal, mario initially tries to work honestly. however, when he loses his job for stealing an apple, he is driven back to his old criminal ways with pablo, believing it's the only way he can provide for his family.

The result of Mario's attempt to provide for his family through illicit means is not explicitly stated in the summaries available. However, it is implied that his decision worsens his family's situation.

he likely feels regret and despair over the choices he's been forced to make.

The play emphasizes the reality of poverty and the difficult choices it forces upon individuals. It shows that temptation is inevitable, especially for those who are unfortunate.
