I do think that the practicals themselves were quite repetitive, especially the ones involving the PCR. I enjoyed the rat brain labs the most where we had to design our hypothesis and carry out our own staining, and I liked that for the summative lab report I had to do a lot of research on areas I hadn't looked into much before. You don't have to beat yourself up trying to do absolutely every optional bit of work and not missing any lectures because uni is a big social adjustment and you can definitely cut yourself some slack.
