As educators and coaches in the ASPIRE program, you play a pivotal role in supporting children with special needs not only in the classroom, but in helping families navigate the systems and services that support them.

This session, led by The Parents’ Place of Maryland (PPMD), will strengthen your confidence and help you partner more effectively with families. You’ll learn what resources are available for both families and educators, and gain clarity around how and when to refer a child for an IEP (Individualized Education Program) or IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan).  This professional learning opportunity will help you build awareness, strengthen collaboration, and ensure families feel supported every step of the way.
