         <description><![CDATA[<div>Totalitarianism is when a leader has total control over everything and all aspects of public and private life. Many totalitarian leaders used violence and terror to hurt those who did not agree with them. A few examples of totalitarian leaders are, Joseph Stalin's rule over the USSR(Russia), Hitler's rule over Germany, Mussolini's rule over Italy, and Franco's rule over Spain. Many of these leaders would use propaganda which is one sided information, to make you believe what they believed. They also used a lot of religious and ethnic persecution. As well they would indoctrination which is teach people mostly kids certain things that agreed with what the leader believed. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hitler gains power by manipulating people and basically turn Germany into a totalitarian state. Hitler gains power within the government by making speeches convincing people that he is right. Trying to convince many citizens that the leaders were weak for signing the treaty. He basically told everybody that he is able to restore Germany to its power. Also the Nazi take command of the economy and eliminates his enemies.   </div>]]></description>

Many Bolsheviks that helped with the revolution were tried, executed, or sent to labor camps. Now The Five Year Plan were several plans actually that were created by Stalin to help develop the Soviet Unions economy through a command economy which is where the government makes all the decisions. He planned to limit the production of  consumer goods, and  set higher quotas </div>]]></description>
