Telling the difference between beat and rhythm can be confusing sometimes. It's easier to tell the difference with songs that have lyrics, since there's usually a distinct difference between the pattern of words and the instruments accompanying them. What would be a good way to differentiate beat and rhythm in an instrumental song, though?

This is the song pride.is.the.devil by J.Cole featuring Lil Baby. I would describe his timbre as warm, resonant, and clear. In terms of dynamic level, I would put it around mezzo forte, as I would not
classify it as loud or soft, but somewhere in the middle.

This version of the song it is really easy to hear the differences in the dynamic levels of the piece because she is the one controlling it fully. In the verses, Ariana sings much softer than in the choruses with the much higher notes. Ariana's tone is warm and bright, but also breathy.

Before reading this module, I did not really pay attention to the elements of music besides the beat or rhythm, but after now I am listening to music and trying to recognize the musical elements. I listened to this cover Ariana Grande did and I noticed how the music gets louder and softer (which are crescendo and decrescendo) in parts of the song

Do musicians typically have the same ability to hear pitch after being trained? Or does it slightly differ due to everyone hearing a slightly different frequencies?
It is really interesting how different composers use dynamics. I feel as if some use them sparingly and others use them very liberally to bring their own feeling of the music across.
In Taylor Swift's song peace on her Folklore album, I would describe her timbre as very smooth and warm. Throughout the song the dynamic level seems to stay at piano sometimes reaching mezzo piano.
