I would like to include a message related to an obvious and everyday object such as paper or something you don't associate with much advertising. By thinking creatively I would like to make an ad that supports the use of paper and the many varieties and uses for paper.
What is the objective?
To attract people to buy and use paper.
The Message:
Paper is important in society and you should buy and use more paper.
The Target Audience:
The target audience for this particular video will be for young adults. I believe that my ad will be better suited to the younger generation as it will be more creative and perhaps the examples of uses could be common things that younger people do.

Research Question:
What do I need to say to convince the audience that paper is a great tool and how can I make paper appeal to younger people

I want to appeal to people who tend to use computers and tablets rather than using actual paper. 
The current generation of teens are using paper less and less which i believe is why I will aim my promotional video at that particular age-group.
I want the ad to include a creative aspect and make things from paper. I also want the video to flow and to do that I think I will make the sequence of shots connect, which could be that is using one object or illustration that moves from one shot to the next. 
I think this is a good idea and I am confident that I can create a captivating and interesting video.

I might create a company in which provides a basis and a clear message: to sell paper from this specific company. 
I will not choose a pre-existing company to advertise, I am going to make up a company that has a simple principle, to sell paper. 

Possible name ideas 
- the paper company
- Big Red Paper Company.

I like the 'Big Red Paper Company' I think it is cute and memorable. it will be easy to create a message based around this theme. 
I could use or include red paper. Or have a red theme that is included in every shot. (Subtle) 

Most importantly I must have a direct message that has some facts. Maybe the fact could simply be that there is a decreasing amount of people that are using paper. I could use this ad as a way to remind people the fun and creativity that paper brings.

It will be aimed towards females rather than males, although the male youth population may still be attracted by the film. I will not include people in my promotional video. 

My film will include a non-gendered creature that can appeal to each gender, I decided this as to appeal my company to a wider audience, as paper is obviously a non-gendered product, it would ake sense to make it appeal to each gender.
