It's a public park surrounds the downtown Salt Lake City and County Building, which houses Salt Lake City's government. Even though it's a beautiful place, it doesn't feel safe to walk around. There are shady people (drunk, crazy or the homeless) down there, in and around the park and they call this home. There was one time I found a used syringe in the grass and it made me felt dirty. Obvious folks with mental issues wandering around parked vehicles looking for opportunities. Those issues have unintentionally ruined the natural beauty of the entire park.

I used to live near this unsafety place and I currently moved to another place that is two blocks away. I took bus at the bus stop right next to this convenient store to school everyday and that was frightening. There are many homeless walking, lying and sleeping around this area all day. Sometimes, they cause trouble eventhough the police offices are there.
