         <description><![CDATA[<p>Eli Whitney created interchangeable parts in 1798 he did this because at the time guns were made by hand meaning all the guns were different this made them hard to fix. Eli Whitney changed this by manufacturing interchangeable parts these parts were all the same so when a part broke in the gun the owner would just have to buy another part instead of a new gun. This idea spread to factory's. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 1789 Samuel Slater emigrates to the United States and starts helping a struggling textile mill in Pawtucket. This mill kept breaking down and after slater worked on it it became the first useful textile mill in the US this was copied by other textile Mills and Slater's ideas spread.  </p>]]></description>

But as more and more people moved to cities they became overpopulation and dirty because there wasn't proper sanitation and a sickness spread rapidly this lead to cholera killing thousands.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The daily life of people in factory towns consisted of people working 12 hours a day for 6 days a week the only day off being Sundays. On these days people enjoyed theaters museums and circuses. On the weekdays in poorer everybody worked including women and children as young as 7. On group of women known as the Lowell girls lived together in boarding house in Lowell Massachusetts and worked in factories, send most of their money back home.   </p>]]></description>

Lowell made a factory that turned raw cotton into cloth in one place this was a revolutionary idea and other factories used this to improve their cloth making.</p>]]></description>
