Having scarce amounts of pure water from a good source that is accessible and hasn't been contaminated.

This is a challenge is because water is a vital human need. It is used in vast quantities for industries around the world.
As discussed by BioScience (2004) Agriculture consumes 70% of water world wide also informed us the amount of water needed to produce 1 Kg of cereal grain is 1,000 L of water and 43,000 L to produce 1 Kg of beef.

This indicates the challenge we should set ourselves as water a necessity for human survival could become scarce.

"A greenhouse gas is any gaseous compound in the atmosphere that is capable of absorbing infrared radiation, thereby trapping and holding heat in the atmosphere. By increasing the heat in the atmosphere, greenhouse gases are responsible for the greenhouse effect, which leads to global warming".

There are many types of Green House Gases (GHG’s), Water vapour itself is one, but is known as a climate feedback gas. The two most prevalent gases are Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Methane (MH4), Both are normally balanced by “sinks”, natural systems and processes which cycle the excess gas through chemical, physical or biological interactions (Mann, 2018). However, since us humans have been gathering speed where industry is concerned, our GHG production has increased beyond the capacities of the sinks to balance the planet; and consequently, the planets atmosphere has been slowly warming. The planet itself does self-regulate, with ice ages for example, but us humans are almost like a plague on this planet. Without the forethought to consider our survival on it’s surface early enough; or indeed to help our own survival quick enough. ReferencesMann, M. E. (2018, September 19). greenhouse-gas.
