In this book, I was kind of confused in some parts as the different chapters come together. I honestly didn't like this book. In my opinion I think it was wrong for her to have an abortion. It was against the law and for the narrator to help her with it and to keep it a secret from Luo as it was his baby. I think that it should not be read again for that reason. But here is a reason to read it. This book helped me realized how different our country was in the time this story took place. This gave me a realization that not everyone has the freedom as we do in U.S of America. This is a privilege to be apart of this country, and should give you a love and appreciation for our country.
