    My major is Environmental Science because I care about the planet. One quirky or fun thing about me is that I used to read 3 to 4 books a week in high school. When I first migrated to the US at 8 years old, my inability to read affected my self-esteem tremendously. When I started to learn how to read, I began to truly understand the power of education and the independence it brought me. Reading continues to improve my writing and my ability to connect with others. My multimedia element represents the activism  I do for the climate crisis.

    Currently I am majoring in Business Administration. I have been contemplating changing my major to a more specialized field, but I like to keep my options open. In my free time, I love to watch movies and game. I believe reading and writing to be a skill that is the very cornerstone of everyday communication. Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with the subject. I enjoy reading a lot and often find myself getting wrapped up in various comics or books but on the other hand, writing I find to be overwhelming.     •     What I would like to gain from this class is to build my foundation on reading and writing. Also to interpret the material better and make it my own.

    •     The multimedia element that I pick is a history of the bombing on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Its very historical to see it in person.
