         <title>The main character in The Hunger Games is Katniss Everdeen . Katniss is a girl from District 12 who knows how to hunt. When her sister is chosen as tribute for The Hunger Games (put on by the Capitol), is how the capitol punishes the districts after one tried to overthrow it. 2 tributes from each district compete with  the other 11 districts until death.  Katniss volunteers as tribute to save her sister because she knows she will not be able to fight for herself.  The Hunger Games is a  In the end, Katniss wins the hunger games (which causes many problems after the fact) because of her bravery.</title>

         <title>The main character in The Lottery is Tessie Hutchinson. Tessie was an average character in the story; just appearing to be the normal citizen participating in the lottery. But when her family is called up as the family with the black dot paper, she looses it and tries to sacrifice her other family members. One by one as her family draws, they are filled with joy as they find out they do not have to paper. Once Bill drew, Tessie knew she was about to get murdered. Each person picks up stones, and quickly murder Tessie, so they can resume their daily activities. </title>
