One way you can help is volunteering, one way you can volunteer is going to a shelter. Another way to help is donating, find an organization and donate. Lastly, educate yourself and your community, tell people that you know about homelessness and the all of the problems to get them to help. One way that people are helping is by donating to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP is a program that helps families that can't afford healthy foods buy them. There are many ways that people can become homeless. Also, the amount of people that are homeless is rapidly growing day by day.
       According to ReadWorks, an article website, "Two key reasons have been identified on why people become homeless. The first is a lack of affordable housing. The second is poverty, or the condition of being poor." The amount of affordable homes for people that don't have much money than there was before.
       According to Bill Qulgley,  "On any given night, there are over 600,000 homeless people in the U.S." He also states, "Over 57,000 veterans are homeless each night." How would you feel if you were one of those people?
